My partner and I tried this place on a whim and boy were we surprised! Food amazing full of rich flavours! Atmosphere warm, inviting and clean! Service exceptional! Definitely would recommend, and we're looking forward to going back in the future!

We had chicken korma and veggie saag with veg pakora to start. Food was so good!
We had an extremely disappointing experience. The food was served very late, and we were given a used plate, followed by a broken one. They also didn’t provide us with water, so my mother went to get some herself. Shockingly, they threatened to call the police on her. My uncle plans to give them a 0 rating due to the racist behavior we encountered.

I am extremely disappointed with our experience at 1000 Islands Kingston location over the weekend. Not only was the food average, but my chicken was raw and unsafe to eat. However, the most upsetting part was their policy on baby food. They refused to let my baby eat their own food in the restaurant, which is absolutely unacceptable, especially since there was no kids menu available. What makes this even worse is that we had already made a big order for all the adults, yet they still showed no consideration for my child's needs. As a parent, I find it incredibly frustrating and infuriating that they acted this way. We will not be coming back, and I would advise other parents to avoid this place!

Worst experience from a restaurant for the first time in Canada. We were group of few, ordered different types of biriyanis, but all were same in taste and was very bad. Poor service and wait time was too long. Not recommend at all.

We were in Kingston and were looking for an Indian restaurant to dine in for dinner.
As usual, the group checked the reviews and found many mixed reviews, but we went ahead.
Ordered plain daal and rice for a baby , but have not seen that kind of daal in any restaurant. I'm not sure what that was. We were all confused, and it had Masala in it, but we specifically told it's for kids, and we don't want anything in it.
Naan was better, chicken sheekh kebab was good at least not bad.
At the end we ordered Masala lemon soda. We don't know what we got, and we could not fix it either.. added salt and stuff but could not do justice to it.
If you have other options, then keep this place at the last.
