Do not recommend. The owner believes that the customer comes last.
Go elsewhere and be happy.

Service was extremely slow, I guess pride and fathers day weekend were a surprise and they had no staff? $4 pop with no refills. My friends all had their meals before they informed me they didn't have enough lettuce to make the salad I ordered, and the only apology was charging for the small one.

OMG soooo good. Service was amazing and the food was epic. Show up hungry because you get a very good portion. And the schnitzel was absolutely perfect.

Great food, great staff and atmosphere. Can't wait for the warmer weather so we can enjoy their beer garden. This place feels like home.

Really fun spot for a lunch or dinner. Great Austrian delicacies in significant portions. Superb selection of beers and schnapps. Lots of great sides and sauces. I had a really noce time here every time I have been here.

Vegetarian options: Available but this place is meat heavy.

Parking: Parking on street and in nearby lots. Same as most of downtown Kingston.

Kid-friendliness: Perhaps angled away from children, but I guess you could bring them here.

First time in Kingston and Amadeus Cafe was recommended to me by a couple local people. It did not disappoint! When travelling for work, it is hard to find unique and fun, home cooked style food. Most places kind of start to taste the same after a while. Today felt like I had dinner over at someone’s house. Jäger Schnitzel was over the top!

I had such a wonderful experience at Amadeus Cafe! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxed yet special meal. The food was absolutely delicious—everything tasted so fresh and flavorful.

I did mention in my reservation that it was my birthday, but I’m not sure if they offer a complimentary cake or not. If they do, it may have been forgotten—but honestly, the amazing food and warm service more than made up for it. I’ll definitely be coming back, whether for a casual lunch or a celebration!

Top notch German cuisine. The Pfeffer Schnitzel is worth the trip downtown.

The menu is so long, there's a very large variety of food to pick from. The vegan/vegetarian option is also very lengthy. I reccommend the späztle and tofu schnitzel! Also the vibes are so nice and cozy

My wife and I are foodies and travel the world eating. We recently went to Switzerland and had a Michelin star rated Schnitzel. I can honestly say that the schnitzel here is as good as that one and at a quarter the price. Truly a gem in Kingston. It is an absolute must! The portions are so large you’ll get to take home a second meal too!
