There was a nice variety of dishes on the menu. Each of us really enjoyed our choices. The service is very good. I would eat here again and recommend it to anyone else.
Since moving to the area, Aquaterra has been our favorite special occasion restaurant. My daughter and I had the most spectacular chicken & waffles for our Easter Brunch and were looking forward to our Boxing Day Brunch. Unfortunately, we couldn't have been more disappointed. Our plates should never have left the kitchen and we should never have accepted them but my daughter had a train to catch. The chicken was burnt and the flavorful condiment that elevated the dish on our last visit was non-existent or possibly soaked into the burnt chicken. After tearing away the burnt coating, we each had a few bites of overdone meat but the majority of food was left on our plates. Our server acknowledged that the chicken was burnt but no apology or compensation was offered. After this experience, it is unlikely we will return.
I took my 89 year old mother out for dinner on Christmas Night. She enjoyed the children that were out with their parents. I knew as soon as the main course was brought and put down that she would not finish it, but thought that is what take away boxes are for. She had to use the facilities near the end of the meal and when we got back the table had been cleared and dessert brought so we did not have a chance to box up her take away. The server himself was excellent, but he said that some female staff had cleared our table. That was the only questionable part of the meal. Disappointing considering I spent over $200 on the meal. I hope the tip went entirely to our male server (I forget his name).
For a restaurant of this quality to serve some kind of pressed meat and call it turkey on Christmas Day is unacceptable. It did not taste like turkey, it was full globules of fat and grizzle. We could not finish our ‘turkey' dinners. My husband ordered the lobster bisque as the appetizer, there was no lobster in it and it was more like broth than anything. The three small desserts were quite tasty, but clearly not made in house. For a restaurant that advertised farm to table, this was terrible and unacceptable.
Fabulous food, fabulous service. Marco was our fantastic server and we enjoyed everything we had looking out on Lake Ontario. We'll be back!
The food was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient, and the ambiance was perfect for a relaxing evening out catching up with friends.
This is our go to restaurant in Kingston for special occasions and we've been going there for more than 10 years. Food quality and presentation is excellent and while it is not a place for a “cheap date” it provides decent value given the quality of food and the special features for each dish that make it a stand out place to go in Kingston ! They had no trouble accommodating my special request to add shrimp to the scallop risotto dish, which combined to offer my favourite dish in the city
We had a creative take on oysters Rockefeller with bone marrow. Marrow was delicious, but prefer raw oysters. Mains were perfectly seared scallops with risotto dish and a grilled octopus dish paired nicely with 2 sides. Our server was helpful, respectful and friendly and we never felt rushed, but service was prompt.
The whole night was amazing! Right from arriving with the parking attendant finding a handicap spot to park for my mother, the staff that greeted us at the entrance and then our amazing waiter. The food was out of this world delicious! Highly recommend if you are looking for an upper scale restaurant.
One of the best breakfasts I've had in a long time. The creme brûlée French toast is to die for! Welcoming from the minute we walked in the door to the time we left. The waitress was super pleasant and attentive to our needs. Quiet peaceful setting with a stunning view. My 86 year old mother kept saying “what a wonderful way to start a day”. Can't wait to go back!

Thank you so much for a beautiful experience. Our time with family was limited to just this meal due to another matter and the visit we had over food and great service was wonderful.
AquaTerra is an excellent restaurant with delicious food, great service, friendly staff and lovely ambiance. We had dinner at AquaTerra for our anniversary and it was lovely. Many thanks to our server for making it special and to the talented chef and mixologist who created such delightful dishes and drinks for us to experience and for true hospitality.
Fantastic dining experience explemplified/amplified by our server Marco !! Our experience started with perfectly prepared espresso martinis and then we were surprised with complimentary Chef's choice amuse bouche of of an AMAZING pulled pork offering. Our table ordered everything from Ahi tuna, beet salads, French onion soup to perfectly prepared filets. So impressed and cannot wait to get back to Kingston. Well done Team Aqua !!! Thank you !!!
We had a delicious lunch overlooking the water. Great service, pleasant atmosphere. One of my favourite place to eat.
I asked for a window seat if possible, knowing they could not guarantee. We had a lovely table, lovely view, very nice young man serving us and the food was excellent. It was my close friends decade birthday and we were given an exceptional dessert. Our waiter took a picture for us that we will have forever. I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience.
