Heard a lot of great things about Big Bites and figured I'd give it a try last night. After spending $20 on 2 chili cheese dogs and poutine, I wasn't able to eat a single thing I paid for. I don't think I'll ever be back.
Chili cheese dogs came with curd for the cheese(multiple advertisement for this item show its made with shredded cheddar). I originally thought I was given 2 poutines when opening my take out bag because of the melted curd. First thing I noticed after opening the package was a big black hair melted into one of the pieces of curd. Second thing I noticed was the loads of raw red onion on the top. Nowhere in store does it show or say that these hotdogs come with them on it. If I didnt find a hair, I probably still wouldn't have been able to it the chili cheese dogs because of the strong onion smell.
Let's skip to the poutine. After finding the hair, I was hesitant to even try it, but against my better judgment, I still did. Big mistake as 80% of the fries weren't cooked fully through and were extremely hard to chew.
Complete waste of my money.

The service was awesome from the staff and with advice from the owner (we presume) on what to try, we settled on the Family Greek Combo for 2 (new to menu) which is Gyros and Greek Fries, Classic Poutine and a Cheese Burger Trio. If we didn't live 5 hours away, this would be a regular place for us to visit.

What a great hidden gem on Montreal Street by the bridge. Don't let the construction discourage you. Best smoked meat sandwich west of Montreal... and the fries are delicious! Two 👍👍
