This is truly a hidden gem in Kingston! Have had lunch and recently, an incredible family dinner. Food is exceptional! Interesting, fresh and delicious! Staff were very fun and courteous. Will always choose the Black Dog when in Kingston! I love this place!

Excellent food and service. From the dinner menu, the trout and fish n chips were delicious. The chocolate mousse did not disappoint. Our server was responsive, friendly and witty. Will be back again!

We found Black Dog Tavern by chance while walking around downtown Kingston — and were pleasantly surprised! The interior looks like a little museum: elegant, spotless, and beautifully designed. We were seated almost immediately and even offered complimentary Prosecco — such a nice touch!
