Great Product but Bizarrely Bad Service.
I stood at the cash for 5+ minutes holding the items I had selected off the shelves (plus I was going to buy a loaf of Sourdough), however 3 different times the young ladies working there pretended they didn't see me so they could look past me to serve people who they knew by name and I assumed were their weekend regulars. After just dropping $60+ at the Cafe for a mediocre-at-best breakfast for 2, this was a bridge too far. Such a shame.

Stopped for cookies and coffee on my way back to Ottawa , great pit stop too refuel on tasty morsels and caffeine boost ! Friendly staff and not a pretentious place to relax and stop for a chat .

I visited because I saw some of their baked goods from a coworker of mine they looked divine. I bought 3 things two scones and a cookie. The cookie was a 10 out of 10 . Everything looked well made all be it a bit rustic. My only complaint is that the store is cramped and it's difficult to browse in peace. It's pricey but I think the quality kinda makes up for it!

Sorry, no picture. This is a charming and delicious bakery with mouthwatering cakes, tarts, pies, cookies, the works. We grabbed an assortment for tea time at Grandma's. Fantastic and highly recommended!

Devine Baked Good & yummy Holiday Meals! West end best secret: lovely Easter Feasters, Valentine's Day, New Years, & Mother's Day meals at better-than-restaurant prices. Plus all baked goods are excellent. Pickup process has been streamlined Our family highly recommends Bread n Butter Bakery (just dont tell too many others, LOL).

Last 2 times we’ve ordered their yeast rolls (to go). the’ve definitely not been fresh. Starting to harden right away. Seem like 2 days old if not more. Not fresh for sure. We’ll get Costco’s rolls ftom now on. Much cheaper and always fresh.

I cannot say enough good things about Bread & Butter and their helpful and friendly staff (particularly Bhoomi). We are visiting Kingston last-minute from the SF Bay Area for a memorial service. After a very long overnight journey, we were tired and hungry. At the same time, my family of 11 is full of extremely discriminating (read: picky, difficult -to-please) Bay Area foodie types. Yet, B&B did not disappoint. The pot pies, quiches, soups, pain aux raisin, sticky buns, and breads were highlights of our trip. In fact, in the span of our 18 hours in Kingston, we made 4 separate trips to Bread & Butter!
Special thank you to Bhoomi (not sure of spelling) who was extraordinarily patient, helpful, and courteous.
