A hugely popular bakery with very good products that have prices that run in parallel with their popularity - huge. But . . . this town doesn't have much to offer in terms of variety and quality, so people seem to happily pay.

I ordered a cake for my daughter who is residing in the residence at Queens. Unfortunately, she was in class when the delivery person arrived. They were patient and understanding. They went above and beyond when delivering to a different location in the residence. The cake is adorable, impeccable service on short notice and I would highly recommend this bakery.

So disappointing! My husband got me a cinnamon bun from Bread & Butter around 9:30am today, and I was so excited—until I opened the box. The frosting was barely there, and the bread was hard, not soft or chewy at all. It didn’t even taste fresh! Tried microwaving it for a few seconds, but it still wasn’t good. Definitely not what I expected!👎👎👎

There were so many delightful pastries to choose from! I always choose a chocolate croissant if it's available, which it was. They were top notch! Very large, and flaky. I also chose a sourdough loaf and it was absolutely delicious!

When in Kingston I always try to go buy here and grab a loaf of sourdough for myself and one for my sister since it is one of our favs. I have tried a few other items as well and all was delicious. A must visit when in Kingston.

We worked with Bread & Butter Bakery for our wedding cake this past August and were so impressed with both their service and their baked goods. While the initial cake design wasn’t quite what we had requested, the bakery immediately took ownership of the mistake, sincerely apologized, and worked with us to make it right. The owner went above and beyond by refunding the cost of the cake - even though we weren't expecting her to do that. We were simply grateful for their commitment to fixing the issue and ensuring everything was perfect for our big day!
The final cake, raspberry jam filled layer cake, was absolutely delicious and received so many compliments from our wedding guests (and photographer lol). We also ordered custom mini ginger cookies as favours, which were equally amazing and a huge hit.
Overall, we can’t thank Bread & Butter enough for their dedication to customer service and the quality of their treats. They truly turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful experience, and we’d happily recommend them to anyone planning a special event.

Everything is incredible. I am addicted to coconut cream pie because of this bakery. The raspberry vanilla cake is my favourite cake in the universe. All scones are ruined for me, because their apricot oatmeal scone is the greatest scone of all time. Nobody bakes like Wayne and Wendy!!! I have not lived in Kingston for almost 15 years, but I've never found a better bakery. Every time I bake, I think, how can I get this closer to the perfect version from B+B?
I ordered multiple pies for my father's birthday party (he's more of a pie person than a birthday cake person).
I made an error when placing the order (wrong date) and the staff helped me rectify my error and were super kind during the whole process.
Everyone loved the pies (we picked up cherry, strawberry rhubarb, apple, and coconut cream).

Great Product but Bizarrely Bad Service.
I stood at the cash for 5+ minutes holding the items I had selected off the shelves (plus I was going to buy a loaf of Sourdough), however 3 different times the young ladies working there pretended they didn't see me so they could look past me to serve people who they knew by name and I assumed were their weekend regulars. After just dropping $60+ at the Cafe for a mediocre-at-best breakfast for 2, this was a bridge too far. Such a shame.
