Not good raspberry cake. Looks pretty but the quality is as a store bought Walmart cake. Like those that you can only eat a slice or is too sweet tasting. Artificial and overpriced at $40. Disappointing for all my family.

Interesting combined concept of a Card shop with a Bakery in the back. Lots of interesting trinkets for purchase to look at as you make your way to the rear of the store.
There you find Kingston's hidden gem of a bakery! Freshly made cookies, scones and croissants at some of the best prices you can find. Even better when purchased in bulk. Great selection and variety to choice from. They also offer drink service.
Come for the food - stay to shop!

The bakery is very inviting, welcoming. The deserts, butter tarts, brownies etc are awesome. They have a great selection of baked goods and other merchandise at affordable prices I will definitely visit again when I'm in the area. Thank you.

I've always loved Card's bakery treats -- in particular the pecan pie is incredible! I love that I can get a small one since I'm the only one who like it at home.
I'm writing this review however because I have recently started buying their cakes and they are INCREDIBLE!! In March, I brought a chocolate zucchini cake to my husband's very picky family celebration. They LOVED it! Many people raved it was the best chocolate cake they've ever had!
Recently, my friends bought me a vanilla cake for my birthday and I must say -- it is the most EXCELLENT vanilla cake I have ever had. 4 days later the cake is still completely soft and delicious.
The service is also excellent, the cake makers and writers have talent!

Ordered 2 doses cupcakes with unique icing at 4pm, had them ready the next day at 8am. Stunning, delicious AND they matched the ribbons on the bag to the requested icing colours. Wonderful job.

I’ve been going to Cards Bakery since back when they were across from LaSalle Mews and they never fail to disappoint. Their food is always delicious and their staff are professional and have excellent customer service skills (and yes, that includes the owner). They also carry a variety of other unique products. Cards is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Owner is rude and hostile towards employees and customers. Have seen the owner put down young female employees in person in earshot of the customers.

I went to Cards, bakery,, and got two of their cherry cheesecakes. They were absolutely delicious hands-down the best cherry cheesecake I have had they make a lot of tasty treats to fix anyone sweet tooth. It is a very nice place. They bake great goodies. The staff are absolutely amazing very friendly and kind and most helpful when I went to get my cheesecakes one of the young ladies that work there was even kind enough to carry them out for me and put them in the vehicle. They will bend over backwards and go out the way to help you out to make it a great experience the only place I will go for baked goods in Kingston.
