I called ahead, and glad I did! Place was packed, with a line up waiting to get in. Chicken caesar wrap was awesome! Huge! Lots of chicken & bacon! Yum! Right amount of sauce. Perfect. Fries were hot and gravy was definitely not from a can or mix. Too bad they're closing.

This is a gem of a restaurant. Have only been for breakfast and they knocked it out of the park both times! Our latest experience was on a Saturday and it was after 12pm. The kitchen still made us breakfast and it was GREAT! We’ll be basaaaaaack!

A nice middle of the road eatery, Carmelinda's is a safe call if you have kids or a picky eater in your group. The restaurant looked clean, and had a 90's family restaurant vibe that you don't get out of chains or most newer places, I honestly liked that.I went on a weekday for lunch alone, and the restaurant was fairly busy. Service was friendly and kind but not incredibly attentive, but I'd chalk that up to them being busy.Food was decent. I had the cheeseburger and got a poutine. The cheeseburger was a little dry, and the way the cheese was melted looked like it was under a lamp or salamander. Poutine used shredded cheese. Portion size was fine. That said, I think I paid about $25 before tip, for a dry burger at that price I wouldn't go back for it. Maybe the club? Other dishes coming out looked good as well. While I don't know that I'll go back on my own, I would consider them if I had to feed kids, or wanted a laid back place to catch up.

Best French toast ever. I’d recommend getting French toast with cinnamon. It was delicious. My husband got eggs Benedict and my daughter got apple cinnamon waffles. All of it yummy!
