Went in the other day and paid $5 for a SMALL hot chocolate smh. There were two women working. The younger one who made the drink was friendly and professional, while the older woman just stood there hand on hip, very smug, arrogant, no manners or sense of customer service. Disgraceful… not going back, still have a bad taste from the experience.

Perfectly located on Princess Street amongst all the action and near the waterfront.
I was impressed with the size of the Coffee & Company, it's quite large inside and offers a lot of seating boasting large windows looking onto the street.
The green tea was very nice as were the baked goods. It's nearly impossible not to walk out with a treat to go with your hot drink!

Pretty good coffee. The Carmel latte had no whip cream . Plenty of seating. Nice and clean coffee shop.

Hello, I went here with my friend after looking at the photos and liking it very much. My friend and I have babies. When we entered the store, they frowned when they saw the baby carriages. I asked for a little milk for my baby. They said they would charge me for a full glass of milk. While my baby was walking around, he said customers were coming here, would you sit down? How can I get my 18-month-old baby to listen to me? Even though I liked the coffee, I was not happy with their attitude at all. I would never want to write these, I was very upset to encounter such an attitude.
Kid-friendliness: I don't think it's suitable for children at all. They don't even have high chairs. The staff warned the children not to wander around the cafe anyway.

2 December 2024 around 6pm. There were two staffs. Young one was so rude. She wanted to kick us out of the place by being rude. She disrespected my 3-year-old child and my friends.

I cannot overstate how deeply disappointed I am with this establishment. My visit to Coffee & Company on Princess st. was, without question, one of the most unpleasant experiences I’ve ever had in any café — and I’ve been to a few.
My friend and our 2 four-year-old daughters were looking forward to enjoying some time together over a treat, but instead, we were met with rudeness, hostility, and an outright lack of basic human decency.
The owner, an older woman who seemed to take pride in her grumpy demeanor, approached us shortly after we arrived and asked us to leave. Her tone was sharp, condescending, and downright cruel—not just to us adults but to our little girls, who were sitting there drinking hot chocolate and drawing on their papers.
I could feel the embarrassment radiating from the other patrons, one of whom actually apologized on the woman’s behalf. That should tell you everything you need to know about the kind of person running this place.
What kind of business thinks it’s acceptable to treat customers—let alone a parent with a child—with such blatant disrespect? A café should be a warm, welcoming space, but this was the polar opposite. If you’re in the mood for a side of rudeness and hostility with your coffee, then by all means, stop by here. Otherwise, save your money.
I wouldn’t go back to this place if they paid me.

Horrible service.
One of the employees accosted two men with their daughters, who were no more than 5 years old, told them they had to leave as they just sat down. Meanwhile, students looked on. It was incredibly insulting and unbecoming of the employee. I volunteered to leave and give room for my table instead. I had to leave to avoid making a scene. Never coming back to this cafe ever! I have to add that it wouldn't surprise me if the employee accosted the two dads because they spoke Arabic and weren't her ideal visible customers for the cafe, which makes her a racist.
She had the audacity to thank me for leaving afterwards. I hope her boss reads this!
Coffee is OK.
Atmosphere is decent, excellent customers for the most part, minus students who gave me the side eyes as I left to make room for more students.

Very good espresso. Cherry Greek yogurt danish was excellent.
Seating was a bit complicated, lots of laptop warriors between lunch and dinner time.
