I had the Chipotle Chicken sandwich with fries and it was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly. Our server was friendly and our food came out quick. A great place for pub-style food.

My server was great. I ordered the caesar wrap as I truly miss it from the west end location. There was maybe one ounce of chicken in my wrap , which is very disappointing and I probably won't be back because of it. If I do go back , I will probably only buy a side of their caesar dressing to make my own wrap at home.

Went here to meet up with a couple friends for supper. Atmosphere is very cozy and decorated well. The waitress was friendly, professional and was attentive to drink refills. The food came out relatively fast and was very flavourful. My food was a bit too much to eat in one siting, but they provided us with a takeout box. It was only a 10ish minute walk from the Marriott hotel we were staying at which was very convenient. The only complaint I have is that the washrooms were only accessible by a very tall and quite narrow staircase to an upper floor. The washroom was fairly small and had two stalls (if I remember correctly). Though, there was a nice, giant, penny decoration on the way up. But, aside from that, I would definitely consider coming here again!

mid-May lunch with friends from away. Slow day, gray day outside. Well staffed for the time of day. We received great attention. A little dark inside. Menu had great range of appies, mains and desserts. Our orders - Old Fashioned Burger, Cajun Chicken Quesadilla, and Chicken Parma were tasty and flavourful. A little too much volume wise, but we did have the option for a doggie bag. Did not opt for dessert. Beverage menu covered all the bases for both alcohol and non-alcohol drinks. For us, a glass of white wine, lite and hazy IPA beers, and of course frequent refills for water. Overall an outstanding dining experience. Highly recommended.

Great service. Loved the fish and chips although the chips were a little salty. Burgers good. Would order these again. Quiet enough to be able to converse with others at our table.

Been going here since I was a kid. Legendary spot with amazing food. Moved back to kingston area and found the food to be unrecognizable unfortunately. Pressed deli turkey on the club house for $22..meh. They used to serve real roasted turkey for less money lol oh well times change. Awesome service, overpriced sad food.

We had a great time at the Copper Penny — the food was absolutely the highlight! It’s rare to find a restaurant that takes the time to sauté and season vegetables properly. The peppers, onions, and mushrooms were cooked perfectly, adding real depth to the dish instead of getting lost like they often do elsewhere.

I ordered the Chicken Thai dish — the rice was cooked perfectly, and the vegetables were salted and seasoned before being added, creating incredible balance and flavor. Honestly, it’s the best dish I’ve had in Kingston. Don’t underestimate the Copper Penny — they know what

Friday lunch hour.. service was great. Attentive but.NOT intrusive or excessive. Server was pleasant and professional.. had the crispy chicken Thai wrap with their seasoned fries and it was fantastic! The fries were hot and crisp and the wrap was delicious. We were there for a couple of hours (It was not busy) And we never felt pressured to leave. Haven’t been here in several years. It was nice to revisit an old past.

Got the BBQ beef wrap. As I have for years & years. IT tasted great - but not fantastic as in the past. Definitely 1/2 the amount of roast beef in the wrap.. So they are cheaping out on that. Also - only 1/2 the amount of fries that they used to give! I wont be ordering from there again. Over $20 now as well!

Had the Maple burger and fries - VERY GOOD. Those may have been THE BEST fries I've ever had!

The food and the beer are amazing but the real stars of the show are the fries. OMG! They are amazing.

Cool building! Service was terrible. Our waitress was slow and didn't seem to care about our table and like we were an inconvenience. The other waitress had more tables and seemed more friendly. I got the chipotle chicken sandwich which was good. My husband got a wrap that barely had any chicken in it. Also a little pricy for what you get.
