We just move to Kingston from Toronto and are happy to discover Days on Front in our new neighbourhood. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. The service is attentive. The food is excellent.

Had a great time here, portions were good for the type of food they are offering(fine dining, big plate small portion), place was nice, knowledgeable staff. I would not recommend the Mac and cheese, but the other plates that I tasted were delicious. I had the chicken supreme which was really good. I would like to come back to try some other dishes.
If you have a special date, anniversary I would recommend you check this place out.

What I'm typing in here is no lies, finest establishment in Kingston and is staffed and owned all locally. Very classy and relaxing setting in such a nice part of town. Cant wait to go back for dinner sometime soon!!

Drove up from NYC and spent a couple days in the 1000 Islands area and with no good food options on the US side my wife and I decided to try Kingston, ON. Don't let the strip mall location fool you Days on Front is fantastic. We had the duck bao special, chicken, cod and mac and cheese. Desserts were a bit big, but i'm only complaining because I had trouble forcing myself to stop eating it. Spencer our waiter was accommodating, I have a shrimp allergy and Canadian healthcare sounds cool, but i wasn't interested in testing it out-- no issues at all.

After being here a few years ago and thinking it was fantastic, we were disappointed in the meal we had tonight. We had ordered the short ribs before, both dining in and takeout, but for $36 you get a very small portion of short rib. The cream sauce that came with the chicken was blah in taste. The best part of the meal was the butternut squash soup - it was amazing. We also had the scallops but you get only 3 small scallops for $21. I was tempted to ask the waiter where the other half of the dish was! As for dessert, I can make a better cheesecake. Service was good and attentive - Dennis was great. Sorry to say, we won't be returning. Ian

This hidden gem has something special for everyone! The duck Ragu is a must try for any duck lover. Great atmosphere and courteous staff. Fresh quality ingredients. They are always rotating and introducing new menu options to keep things interesting. Good selection of wines. Will definitely return.
So glad they're open for lunch, even if it's only a couple of days a week. Always delicious.

Story time! I have been a regular at Days on Front since it opened! While the menu has changed over the years, the quality and flavours of each dish has always been top notch (even throughout the food truck phase)! I recently had oral surgery and was cleared to eat warm food like soup, problem is, I hate soup! I thought I would give the soup a try and ordered it for take out. It was a butternut squash soup and was, without a doubt, the absolute best soup I have ever had in my life. I am going to place a few orders so I can heat up at home over the next few days! I can’t say enough about this soup! I will be dreaming of this soup! Thank you for making my soup dreams come true!

We were looking for a good restaurant in Kingston and my husband came across Days on Front. We thought we were going the wrong way, even when we arrived in the parking lot. It was almost deserted. You had to dare to push the door to be there and find a restaurant where all the tables were occupied. Warm welcome, impeccable service and the cuisine a real treat. I recommend it
