Great place to eat. Have recently been for a few lunches and the service is fast so no need to worry about time. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Service is always friendly and the food is very good.
Great meal. Always great service. Every meal is always great
One of Kingstons absolute finest. This restaurant deserves 10 stars. The food is superb and high quality. The staff and owner go above and beyond to ensure your dining expectations are met. Food is Seasoned to perfection and not heavily salted, yet so so flavorful. Family favourites include: warm salad, caesar salad, beef short rib, shrimp appetizer, triple chocolate cheesecake. One of if not the best wine selections in town with wines from all over Europe you can’t find at other wine shops or lcbo. Matt Day and his team delivers top quality service from start to finish, with staff at the door to collect coats and amazing attention/accommodation to your comfort throughout your meal. Friendly and professional servers who add enjoyment to the experience that is Days on Front. A truly special place, a Kingston staple. It’s worth the short drive to the west end if staying downtown to enjoy fine cocktails, wine and food, great ambiance and exceptional
Service. Warm, classy yet casual and sophisticated atmosphere.
A trip or reservation at this restaurant is sure to deliver. Also, the events such as Wine Dinner and Mothers Day brunch, Days On Front organizes are a real treat to experience and make for an amazing special occasion- birthday, anniversary, date night etc. Highly recommend all around. Have been too many times to count. Thank you Days on Front team! You are the best!!
First time here. Went for Mother's day lunch. The schnitzel, parm potatoes, and arranchini were positively bland. The waitress took forever to take our order and then later came to the table to ask if we were still eating while we were chewing. Won't be back.
Food is always good, service always great
We went in thursday night & I was so sad I missed out on the Lobster Ravioli feature.
But our server was extra great that night. I didnt catch her name but she had short hair & glasses!
What a pleasant surprise. Delicious food with small and large plates available. Amazing desserts. Looking forward to returning.
My family gives my husband and I a gift card every year for Christmas to a different restaurant in Kingston. This year it was Days on Front. I ordered takeout, the crab aranchini was pretty good, I thought the type of pasta used for the Mac and cheese was an interesting choice but the flavour of the cheeses comes through really well. The steak was supposed to be done medium but we got medium rare it was very chewy and the cuts weren't worth $38 and had very little to no flavour, couldn't even taste pepper. The braised lamb and the short ribs lacked any kind of flavour it all tastes oily. As well as the scallops which you only get three small scallops, the candied bacon was good. I was also disappointed at the lack of options on the menu. I really wanted to try the mushroom salad but forgot to order it. I was going to go back and order one but after tasting what we had I'm going to save the disappointment.
My wife and I had dinner, March 26. The food and service were both excellent.

Perfectly cooked meal
Friendly service
Everything was perfect. I had nothing to complain about. Food was magnificent, service the best I've had in years, atmosphere was great. Prices were really good and the wine list was great and very affordable. We had a Malbec that was fantastic. I will go back in a heartbeat.
Kingston doesn't have many really amazing restaurants but this is one! I'm annoyed we only learned of it now after 8 years!!

Valentine day was so good because of this dinner. Appetizer was amazing but for the main, the duck was bland. However the pasta was so good. Definitely eat the appetizer and pasta again!
Went for dinner last night with my family. I have a lot of food allergies and sometimes, dining out is a disappointing experience. Not last night. My meal was flavourful, hot and delicious. Portion size was just right! I was also able to have dessert...a very, very rare thing. All of the staff last night were friendly and accommodating.
My husband surprised me to dinner tonight for my birthday ♡ amazing service, thank you for making this memorable.
The crab aracini was good but that’s where it ended.
The presentation was great but the food was extremely disappointing. Especially given the price.
We ordered the steak as medium rare but half of it was well done. It was incredibly oily, very salty, and most of it was really dry. The fries were somehow even saltier (not to mention that some of them were soaked and soggy from the steak oil…)
This was an unexpected delight. The meals were perfect. It was a nice ambiance, not loud. We will definitely be returning and spreading the news. Costco has gift cards for $100. Costs only $80.
Yup, I'm getting a couple.
