Delightfully Different Tea Room

I was here with my sisters-in-law recently and we absolutely loved it. Wonderful staff, atmosphere and food. We all highly recommend for the high tea.

I had been intending to visit this place for a very, very long time, but just never got around to it, until a friend invited me to go.

Everything about Delightfully Different Tea Room is literally delightful.

The setting, the service, the food (**definitely** try the Moroccan tomato soup... Oh My Yum 😋)... ALL impeccable.

Even the manner in which a teapot becomes yours, for the time you are there, is a treat.

A great place for a conversation with a friend or two, to just take a breath from the hustle and bustle, or to enjoy a few chapters from a book.

You'll love Denise, the owner. It's almost like you're in her home.

The staff is charming.

If you are a member of the Rainbow Community, it's a very positive space.

And in my case -- because I'm silly -- I had arrived from home on my bike (after having stopped there to switch bags) and had forgotten to transfer my lock.

Denise found a way to bring my bike inside, a very cozy space, so that I could spend time with my friend and not worry.

She's that wonderful!

This is a very high recommendation.

I would give six stars if it was an option.

I just love this place! The quiche is excellent! The Bacon/Cheese and Greek ones are my favourite. While I no longer live in town, I will go out of my way any time I'm in the area to pick up a few.

Been here a few times and each time the experience and staff were absolutely amazing. My child is special needs and they had such patience with him. He truly loves this place! Amazing tea and cakes! Highly recommend!

We had a pleasant lunch at the tea house. Its a different, fresh, relaxing atmosphere. The moroccan soup and the quiche of the day were delicious. Its a unique place in Kingston. Thank you Denise

When in Kingston you have to stop by for tea the owner makes your feel like home food is the amazing Moroccan soup is the best . Worth the trip inside

Afternoon tea are rough,100 dollars before tip for two persons. You may want to consider other services here.

Very cute spot to have some lunch and afternoon tea ? service was incredible personable and very friendly! I heard they have the best French onion soup in the world! And I have to say I 100% agree ? it was amazing! Scones were perfect and very tasty. Will be back!

I've enjoyed taking my daughter or niece here for a high tea experience! With an outdoor patio nestled in the courtyard of Martello Alley, the vibe is truly picturesque! You get to hand pick your tea pot from a collection of unique pots, and there is a wide variety of teas/food to accompany your meal. This spot lives up to its name!

Very nice place. English style. Spectacular service. The tea and biscuit were delicious.

This place is amazing! Everyone was so friendly and the food was amazing! I got to try a new tea flavor and I loved it! I got the chocolate pudding cake and it was amazing too! We even got to pick out our own tea pots to use and they are all so cute! The prices are great as well!

Enjoy a wonderful high tea at Delightfully Different Tea Room. Everything was delicious and Denise is a wonderful host. Unfortunately it was raining so couldn't enjoy the whimsical patio. Would definitely recommend and go again if I'm ever in Kingston again.
