We had breakfast this morning at Denny's on Gardiner's Road in Kingston. Candi greeted us at the door with a smile and was very welcoming. There were many customers sitting in the area we were in and Candi was the only server. She was attentive and checked back to see if we had everything we needed. As we were leaving, she wished us a Happy Mother's Day and Happy Birthday!
We always go in at night after plowing snow, lastnight we sat ourselves and another table, no waiter in sight, we had to ask the cook if someone was working.
Once we ordered food, waiter then disappeared again for 30 minutes and we had to go find him to get our food, it was cold and nasty after waiting so long.
We then had to track him down again to get a bill. Our glasses were dirty, with finger and lip prints still on the cups.
