I used to love ordering their preserved egg and lean meat porridge, but then it actually tasted like a trash can. Have your preserved eggs gone bad? Has the porridge been squeezed by a juicer? I can’t tell what it is.

I've been working in Kingston for over a year and a half, coming from Toronto, and I was thrilled to find this dim sum spot! I used to order from here regularly, but lately, the quality has been a bit inconsistent. Some days, the dim sum is fantastic, but other times, I've found items either undercooked or overcooked. However, the times when the food wasn't great were usually when I ordered late, so it might be better prepared during peak meal hours. The prices are reasonable, but just be aware that there can be occasional inconsistencies.

A lively and family-style restaurant. The portions and the quality of the food is great. I always feel super welcome every time I walk in here and order anything, though I will say if you are planning on getting takeout, it's best to go in person because the delivery service is not the greatest.

They cancelled my Doordash order after the estimated dellivery time. Should've cancelled it as soon as I submitted it. Instead I waited thinking it was going to be delivered by their employee (as stated in doordash, this business can choose to deliver through doordash or by their own). And, after about 30 minutes, I get the notification my order was cancelled because they can't fulfill it.
It's very green in there... a bit off-putting...
