Served PITA instead of naan. Do they know the difference or they think their customers don't know the difference.
Ordered beef curry and they served chicken curry.

I visited Dr. Shawarma yesterday hoping to try their chicken burger, but it wasn’t available at the moment. However, what truly stood out to me was the kindness and honesty of one of their employees.

Noticing my hijab, she politely informed me that the patties used in their chicken and beef burgers are not halal. I had always assumed all their meat was halal, so this information was really important to me — and I deeply appreciate her taking the time to let me know.

She shared it with a warm smile and such respect — a small gesture, but it meant a lot. This kind of transparency and customer care deserves recognition. Thank you girl!

I had a great experience at Dr. Shawarma! I ordered the mango lassi and the vegetable biryani, and both were absolutely delicious. The mango lassi was super refreshing and had just the right amount of sweetness.

The vegetable biryani was flavourful, perfectly spiced, and came in a generous portion. The staff was friendly his name is (Deep) and the service was quick. Definitely coming back again!

Ordered a Schwarma plate . The guy didn’t put pita in my order . It should be included in the platter ? Then when I asked he gave me a moldy and hard piece of pita . I’m not coming back .

My buddy ordered right after me and again no pita. Not impressed

If I could give zero stars for service I would. I waited 30 minutes for a poutine and when it was ready it was cold and they didn’t even put gravy on it. I’m very disappointed and the wait time was absolutely ridiculous and disgraceful.

Worst chicken Tikka biriyani ever. They should stop serving biriyanis. Tasteless and flavorless. What a waste of money.!
Very disappointed.

For a meal with rice, vegetables, and potato meat mixed together,
I have always been deeply fond of it. In Canada, there are many similar dishes like this—delicious.
But just today, I had the worst thing I’ve ever eaten among all the meals I’ve had.
A normal meal costs around 19 dollars after tax.
Can you believe it? Their store is less than 50 meters away from the metro—50 meters, brother!
The beef you prepared isn’t even canned luncheon meat. What kind of meat is this? Artificially synthesized meat?
Not worth it at all.

I had high hopes for Dr. Shawarma & Curries, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. The Indian dishes, including the biryani and curries, didn’t seem fresh and were much below the standard I’ve had at other places. The flavors were unbalanced, and the spices felt off. For the price, I expected much better quality and taste. The service was okay, but it didn’t make up for the disappointing food. I won’t be returning. I recommend to go to Tim Hortons instead.

This place used to be wonderful and one of the best shawarma I have ever ate. I find the employees borderline abusive. A customer makes or breaks a business, essentially they are your income. You make them feel valued, heard, respected, part of the meaning of the "Customer is always right." When you make a mistake you have the opportunity to do better and correct it, we all make mistakes. How ignorant and aggressive the staff member was to my friend, I was in disbelief hearing. All that was required was taking accountability for making food so hot you couldn't eat it(the person can't eat hot food due to medical reasons), and making it right, she started yelling and being confrontational from the initial moment. The food not the same quality at all, the flavor very underwhelming, it is not the same wonderful place it used to be.
