Great food, amazing service. The two young ladies that run that store have done an amazing job. Its my new favorite breakfast and lunch place. Wont go anywhere els.The plates of food, are massive, yet very affordable. Check it out.
Very bright and clean, as are washrooms...Great service!... Good Coffee!... Great Food!... Comparable prices!... Will definitely return!...
Our(myself and my wife) favorite place to eat , friendly service , awesome food , great prices .
My husband and I fortunately stumbled across Eggspress Thursday morning. We were both extremely impressed with the hospitality, service, food, portions and prices!! Wow!!! Just wow!!!! We also had a chance to peek at the lunch menu and cannot wait to go back!!! This is definitely a hidden local gem!
I’ve started going to EggsPress approximately 2-3 times a week for the past few weeks and haven’t had any complaints until today. I asked for diabetic syrup and the waitress hesitantly said (after speaking with someone) it would be an additional $2.00 for the diabetic syrup. I don't agree with charging more for an item that is needed for medical reasons. Its not the money its the principal. If you are diabetic it will cost you more, not good.
Food was absolutely delicious, had the banana bread french toast special
Ordered takeout. Got the BSC crepe, side of potatoes, side of French cream, and fresh apple juice. Here’s my thoughts and my comparison to what you can get just down the street at EggsquisPros:-The crepe is very large, filled with fruits-the apple juice is a very good price (2.50) and you can tell it’s fresh-not a lot of garnishing with other fruits (look below for comparison)-fruit was not spectacularly fresh, but weren’t old eitherCons:-Crepe was more like a pancake than a thin crepe.-potato’s were bland and not crispy enough for my preference of home fries and the homemade ketchup didn’t help much with flavour-found the price for quantity and quality a bit lackingComparison between here and eggsquiseggsquis:-better pricing for portions, usually same crepe there already includes French cream (also has better cream I find)-crepe is more crepe like and extremely thin while still being air and fluffy-same size portions and fruits, however always garnishes with 3-4 fresh melons that are usually more unique melons, also fruit is spectacularly fresh every time I’ve gone (6+ times)-more expensive juice but taste is comparable-potato’s are not even comparable, these one are seasoned, crispy and soft at the same time. Truly perfect in my opinion and the same priceHonestly if I’m in the area and looking for a crepe this place isn’t bad by any means but I would still only go here if eggsquis is extremely busy (I mean busy cause I’ve even waited in line there before because it’s worth it)Just my thoughts, I still think this place is good though if your not a huge fan of eggsquis
Our server was "new", only 2nd month doing so, but had been in the kitchen for 16yrs. Even so, he was AMAZING. Super kind, understanding & accommodating. I believe his name was "Brandon". Food was absolutely wonderful as well.Would recommend him as a server & the restaurant in general in a heartbeat. Will definitely go back (and hope he's on shift). This may even turn in to our bi-weekly brunch place!!!! I find it better than even Eggquis!!!!!
My favourite breakfast place so far I go there at least once a month. Food is always hot and fresh and friendly staff?
The restuarant looks great inside, it was clean and inviting however that's about where the good stops. Our server took our orders and then dissapeared, almost 20 minutes later comes back to the table to ask us if he had taken our orders. That was the first flag, sure enough 5 minutes or so later he comes from the kitchen with scolding hot plates... so much so that he had to slide them onto the table beside resulting in the toast sliding off the plate... that was flag number 2 as played only get that hot if it's been sitting in the window too long. The food was bland, the ketchup was thick like it had turned. Then comes trying to leave... our server almost seemed like he didnt want to check on us at all, I watched him move around like he was lost, and at one point completely disappeared. After another long wait we finally flagged down the hostess to get us out bill, our server seeing this didnt even do a final check or anything. I would understand if it was swamped in there, but they only allow 20 people in the restaurant at a time and had 4 servers working... that shoudk allow for plenty of time per table to make sure this stuff doesnt happen. Anyways I wont go back there I will stick egsquis whichbis just around the corner
Restaurantji Recommends
Great breakfast good service. Covid strong!!
The most delicious waffle I've had in a long time.
Great place to go for a small family feel diner. My waiter was great with me and my family, only thing I can say I didn't like is that when I arrived I had told the host im exempt from wearing a mask and she then brought me one and tried to insist I wear it. My waiter then told me it was okay and he completely understood. He made me feel comfortable and not feel discomfort or discriminated for not wearing it. Even though I could tell some staff weren't okay with it I still appreciate my waiter and his kindness.I love this restaurant and will continue to return.
It was a nice return to some normality to be able to go to a restaurant and eat inside. Our hostess was polite and the customers were at a safe distance apart. The food and service was very good. I wouldn't exactly say it was cheap, but the portions were well sized. The decor was simple and tidy. I would definitely recommend Eggspress.
It was a little cold. Did not like the home fries. Server was very pleasant
