The food quality is spectacular! Love their mozzarella sticks with the best cheese pull. Their fish burgers taste amazing , fries are crunchy and tasty! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend this place it’s so good 💯

The fish was golden, crispy, and cooked to perfection—every bite was flavorful and fresh. I tried both the halibut and haddock, and while both were excellent, the halibut was my personal favorite. The new owner, Shahid, was incredibly warm and welcoming, taking the time to chat and share exciting plans for the future of the restaurant. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality alongside top-tier food. Highly recommended—this place is a gem.

Frans is a hole in the wall that you would easily miss if you were not looking for it but that would be a mistake. The fish is absolutely delicious. The batter is thin and crispy. The fries are fresh cut. Be aware there are only 3 tables that seat 2 each. It's more of a take out place but worth squeezing in. We will be back next time we are in Kingston.

It's wholly worth your time to stop here. Great spread of food, wide variety of options, great portion sizes for amazing value. At a time where fast food is no longer a far cheaper option, it's good to support local businesses and get high quality food.
The breading and chips was crispy, the seasoning was perfect, the tartar sauce was a perfect pairing of freshness to the fatty fish. Stop by here if you ever can.
