We order "fish and chips" for the flavor and experience from past UK memories. The chips resembled oven baked and healthy chips with a clean but dry taste. Fish was expensive but tasty.Service was decent though poutine was ordered and paid for but missing from order (was already home and did not call back).Inside was a small area with a few tables packed together.Do not order through food applications as they charge up to $5 on top per dish!

The cod was paper thin and the batter didn’t coat the fish. It was so greasy and the fish was hard crunchy pieces. Two orders of fish, onion rings that were just as dried out as the fish, and a small poutine. No drinks. $97! When I asked why it was so much she said because they ring everything up separately??? Horrible and over priced.

The fish and chips at Fran's is very tasty. The batter on the fish is on the thicker side, but not overwhelmingly so. If you must have a super thin batter, this fish is not for you. The chips (fries) are really great, (some of the best I've had) and the portion is generous. The Cole slaw is fantastic (mayo based) and the tartar sauce quite nice. A lemon wedge is included, which goes wonderfully squeezed on the fries, as well as the fish. Addionally, they have a fairly extensive menu of non fish items, for those who enjoy "turf" but no "surf". The shop was recently renovated and looks quite nice inside, even if the outside is nothing to write home about. All said, I do go there fairly frequently and will continue to do so. I would definitely recommend trying it.

After a long day at Wonderland me and my friends were starving and not gonna wait in a 2 hour line for overpriced pizza. We came here 5 min walk and when we walk in our stomach was rumbling even more. Great food I recommend the wings and the buffalo burger the poutine is a 8/10. The waffle burger was Ok it look better than it taste. Overall great service, food and Atmosphere.
Ive heard so much good stuff about their food. Im from newyork and i haven't had such flavorful and amazing fry fish in a long time. Their mango smoothie with the boba hit the spot! Highly recommend this place!

I was looking for a great burger and I heard Fran's was it. I've had the fish and chips many times so I thought I'd give it a whirl as I was looking for something fresh, homemade and not fast food or anything restaurant like. I was not disappointed.Added fries and breaded mushrooms and I was in heaven. Locally sourced beef, handmade patties, perfect build.Did I mention the service? Fran is delightful and professional. The atmosphere is mellow and calm. Can't ask for a better experience.
