Was hoping for a "hidden-gem" restaurant experience, but was quite disappointed instead. My husband and toddler were in the mood for pancakes after our long downtown tour, and this place was the closest to us. Entered, and staff immediately greeted us and we stood at counter to order.For a basic waffle and a pancake dish...it took about 20 mins of us sitting and waiting with a 1 month old and 27 month old. A long time for basic breakfast. Also, more patrons came into store and our food was just made to sit on counter while others were served. Both our plates finally came to us...cold. cold waffle with frozen fruit and cold pancake with underripe banana.For the amount of money bring spent here, you would expect warm food at least.

This morning it was my first time at this store, and I really loved it! I got a yummy royal waffle!!! I was served by Hady and he’s a very good worker! I’m satisfied with my experience there today. For sure I’d love to back again. :)

server did not interact with us and when he finally took our order he was rather ignorant. when my two year old cried because he was starving the server turned the tv so loud we could hardly place our order than well trying to order he turned away from us mid order without saying a thing to us just turned away than placed a fruit drink infront of us staring blankly at my mother my mom had to say to the other customer "i think this must be your drink since we havnt even been able to place our order fully yet..." to witch the server responded with starting to make the 2 items we managed to order and well he did that my mom took the opportunity to let hin know there was still 2 more meals we needed along with 4 drinks and a icecream. when we got our meals after about 40 mins of waiting the server was not able to tell us correctly what meal he was handing us. we than had to re order our drinks and just before paying again had to re order our icecream so we payed about 100 dollars for good for but the worst service i have ever experienced! as an added bonus i had to send my oldest kid across the street to the dollar store to get my 2 year old a snack because it took this server 20 mins per plate he made and he had not even started our order yet.Kid-friendliness: turned up the t.v to drowned out my kids cry (who was crying because he was hungry)

I cannot believe the ratings are so high for this place. Those ratings smell fishy to me. The place in itself is under average in term of decoration and music (nothing). The dessert we tried was a mix of an overly sweet ice cream and bad fruits quality; strawberries were not rip enough, green and a bit hard. The same for the mango. Toilets are not so clean as you can see on pictures. Usually, the way they clean the toilet is the way a business clean the rest of their kitchen and else so I let you imagine. Overall, under average for a dessert place.
Delicious crepes and waffles, but the service should improve.When they are a bit busy they take a long time doing your order just because they normally have one person working per shift.Another thing they should improve is with the prices, it’s like going to a restaurant but you’re only spending on desserts. I recommend the owner making the prices more accessible for everyone.
