HEIST Restaurant + Wine Club

Loved this place! The ambience was perfect, with special attention to dimming of lights, amazing decor, pampering from staff, which made me feel like a queen. It is an upscale restaurant with polished waitresses, maître dis, but affordable and very classy! I will be back!

Very nice place. The boneless chicken is very good and tender. The pesto pizza was very good too. The service and the atmosphere were amazing too!! huge space and very clean and nice. Pretty chic vibes too.

Outstanding Service from Andrew!

Andrew has served us on both our birthday and anniversary, and each time he’s gone above and beyond to make it special. He even remembered us from a few months ago where we sat and what we ordered! His service is always smooth, friendly, and thoughtful. He makes every visit feel personal and memorable. Andrew is a big reason we keep coming back!

Wow, stunner of a restaurant! From the atmosphere to the creative menu to how the servers interact with your table is phenomenal. Small details like the silverware change was noticed. Riley was our server and they were extremely knowledgeable and friendly. We had the Pork Belly and Shrimp cocktail for our appetizers and that pork belly hit it out of the park! Dragging the house made bread thru the plate reminents was divine! All entrees were absolutely amazing. We all shared bites from each other's plates and not a single disappointed bite. Thank you for the care and the wonderful experience for our birthday celebration. Well worth it. If you're looking for a quick bite, this isn't the place for you. This is a place where you get to fully experience an authentic fine dining experience. Take the time and soak it all in

I had a very disappointing experience at Heist, particularly with how they handle food allergies. As someone with allergies, I was shocked to find out that the restaurant does not accommodate these restrictions-not only do they remove the allergen-containing item from the dish, but they charge the same price without offering a reasonable substitution. In my case, my main dish came with lemon potatoes, which I could not have. Instead of offering an alternative side, I was told I would have to purchase a side separately if I wanted something in place of the potatoes. When I asked about this, the server informed me that this was the chef's decision and that they do not make exceptions. It's incredibly disappointing that a restaurant of this caliber would take such an inflexible approach, especially when it comes to something as important as food allergies. It shows a lack of care for customer experience and well-being. I expected far better. I hope Heist reconsiders this policy as it's both unreasonable and unwelcoming. ***update they never follow up on emails which indicates they truly stand behind no exceptions even for allergies.

Our experience here yesterday was nothing short of spectacular. Our server was Kadance, who was extremely knowledgeable on the specials and made us feel very welcomed into the space. Will be coming back!

The gnocchi here is amazing! Kadence was our server and was extremely attentive and helpful. She knew the best wine pairings and made our experience unforgettable!

What a great place to have. Kingston is lucky! We had the pork belly, honey pizza and Striploin with wine and prosecco. Pricing was reasonable. Service efficient and the place is gorgeous! Thanks for a great night

The service really hurts this place, I have never had to wait so long for food. We were dining in a group of 8, and we sat down at our table at 6:15PM. Ordered our entrees around 6:40PM... the food didn't come out until 8:45PM. At that point I had to leave to put my son down so I wound up walking my very expensive steak out of the restaurant In a doggie bag.

We had a young woman for a server, and I seriously believe that she intentionally held off on firing our entrees so she can keep refilling our drinks. We had the owner pop by to check in, as fancy restaurants usually do. He must've felt like an idiot when we told him we've been sitting around for 2 hours and had nothing but booze and bread.

This place is all hype, no substance, you would have a much better dining experience else where.

They have limited vegetarian food choices but those are truly worth it. Loved every option and the dessert.

Very nice restaurant. We were visiting from out of town and weren't sure what it would be like. There are a surprising number of dining rooms tucked away in the building.

The service was very friendly. Our family felt welcomed.

The food took quite a long time to come out. Our server did acknowledge and proactively apologize. Not sure if that's something that happens at Heist. We were here for dinner on a Sunday night of May long weekend.

Finally, the food was good. None of the dishes blew us away, but you're getting quality food that's been carefully prepared. A couple of things we noticed:

1) the kale and beet salad had a strong spice to it (cumin?). Couldn't put our finger on it, but depending on your preference, it could either be a delightful surprise or something that doesn't pay off.

2) the ahi tuna appetizer had corn nuts. Interesting choice, but not sure if it lands.

Otherwise, loved the rigatoni alla vodka (everyone who had a taste agreed it was excellent). The bolognese was possibly just a little heavy on meat for our taste preference. The pizza dough had a nice chew (good job). And the branzino was good. The chocolate mousse dessert was quite decadent. The salt flakes were a very nice touch.

All in all, good food, classy and friendly staff, and nice ambiance. I would recommend for a nice night out in Kingston.

Cool place with excellent food!

My husband and I went there for our anniversary. We both ordered the 8 ounce tenderloin steak. It was absolutely delicious. Melting in your mouth. Best steak I’ve ever eaten. I also ordered the Caesar salad. Best Caesar salad I’ve ever had in my entire life. I would definitely recommend this place and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely one of many great nights at this restaurant. Service was quick and virtually no wait time on Friday night. Kadance was amazing a5 serving our table. Letting us know of the specials and the wait time for our food. Giving us plenty of time to order. We've ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese and 6oz, Sirloin Steak. Paired with a nice Pinot Noir red wine. Fantastic food, served to perfection. Would definitely recommend Heist to everyone!!!

Had such a great time celebrating the bride to be! Emma is such a knowledgeable and personable server, would definitely recommend
