My dad who’s in his 50’s and myself, in my 30’s, have been coming here since we both were kids. We live far out of town but anytime we’re close by, we make it a point to stop in here. I’ve never had an issue with the food or the service from the employees. Both have always been 10/10.

Stopped tonight for a treat and it was absolutely amazing. Incredibly fresh bun and veggies and the steak was fantastic. Wonderful service from wonderful staff made it a 10 out of 10 experience!

Stop on way from Toronto to Military Base..Very tasty sandwiches. Prepare to get your clothes smoky and smelling of fried onions while waiting for your order.Bread/roll get very soggy and wet if you don't eat right away. Fillings falls thru the wet bread. Bring paper napkins.Lady prepares sandwiches on counter, cuts it in half and tries sometimes unsuccessfully to pick up the two halves to a grease paper and wrap it.Meat and toppings falls out, no gloves .....i guess you can't change something that is working procedure for many generations. Lol.
First timer here. We heard it was good. We had cheese steak , double, and a steak and bacon. The flavors were ok, the meat was tender, but they are served on a “Betty” brand sub roll, not much bigger than a hotdog bun and VERY thin. Wasn’t worth the money sadly. Over $33. For two subs and one iced tea.

We go here every time we are in Kingston and would always give the staff and food a 5 star. Today I wish I could give it zero stars. The older woman on shift was miserable...didn't wanna talk to us at all. Was rude and abrupt.Her coworker or owner came in and loudly the employee stated she wasn't feeling well ..had a terrible headache and was nauseous . We heard every word she said.This all happened why she was touching our food with bare hands .The food itself was disappointing. Potion of meat didn't seem as much as usual.Will I return..yes..because this was the first bad experience...and hope she has retired...as she did not look happy to be thereParking: 4 spaces out back

First time I’ve ever been, and I’ve heard so much hype from people (radio) etc. I don’t get it. $16+ for just a foot long steak n cheese. The bun was Betty Bread, so by the time I got home the whole thing was soaked & barely holding together. Overall the taste was bland.
