Growing up in Nova Scotia and being VERY familiar with donair meat. I have traveled all over Canada and have come across different types of what I call Donair meat. I always buy the meat, I dont like sauces in any way shape or form. So when I taste your Donair meat, I taste the meat, and the combination of spices. I used to drive 45 min outside of Kingston to get donair meat. However, that has changed after my recent taste test of donair meat at the House of Donair on Bath road. Is it exactly like NS donair meat ? No, but im telling you, this donair meat is in the top 5 donair meat I have EVER tasted. So I purchased $20.00 of meat after the awesome staff member sliced me off a piece for sample. Im literally hooked. I spoke with the owner and he said he was getting goosebumps with excitement over my claim. Guys up front were so welcoming and grateful for my business.5 Gold stars for Gold donair meat.Peter Tripp

Food is always good and fresh. Customer service is on point. Normally I get the donair, I decided to try the shawarma one visit. It wasnt good the chicken was dry and just wasnt for me. The guy behind the counter wouldnt allow me to pay for my donair i got to replace the food i didnt like. My next visit the owner grabbed a plate and put some chicken on it and said eat. While telling me they changed the chicken after i had said something and man it was good that time around. Customer satisfaction seems to be priority here. G8ve it a shot you wont be disappointed.

I ordered the most expensive package on the menu (family meal with eight skewers with the works for $72). When I got home and opened it, I was surprised to find old/dry shawarma scraps instead of kebabs and skewers. When I called to see if It was a mistake, they said no they just didn't have the ingredients to make what I actually ordered..... So why didn't you tell me before I picked up, and why didn't you charge me appropriately?I have no idea if their food is any good on a normal day, but after this I won't be wasting any more money to find out.

First of all they are some of the kindest generous people. The Interac was down and they offered to take my name and I could pay some other time. (Ended up e-transfer if money). Next they gave me a generous sample of food with which I was unfamiliar and, as for the food. OH MY how tasty, fresh, well seasoned and absolutely delicious. I ate a donair there and bought extra to take home. Will definitely return. Best Lebanese food in ages.

Was in the area visiting family from Halifax NS where the donair is recognized as our official food. Wanted to try the local product. I found the meat tasty, but more shredded than sliced, and a little dry, but close to the taste that I'm used to. The sauce was not as creamy as those that I'm used to and more resemblant to the small packages to can get at the big grocery stores. It doesn't quite taste the same. I was very glad that they didn't try to stuff lettuce in it and went with the traditional tomatoes and onions with the option of cheese. It is something I'd get again, mainly because there are no other options, and it's close to what I consider the real thing.

Asked for the donair plate with rice, was given the one with fries. Even though there was a generous helping of meat, the fries were unseasoned and mediocre, very little white sauce on any of it. Shawarma El-Mina right next door is far better in my opinion and you get more, better quality food for less money. Osmows is more expensive but I also prefer it. Also minus points on anywhere that asks for a tip when its just take out, but unfortunately that seems to be the industry standard now.

The donair was perfect. Just ask them to serve the spice aside because they have poured sweet sauce on top and I didn’t like it. But totally worth it to give it a try. Donair rapped in Naan is my option next time.

Food was delicious especially the hummus and donair poutine which was better than osmows!! I can't wait to try the donair pizza as well!! Definitely 10/10 would recommend!!!
