10/10!! My family went for dinner tonight and they had a great meal. The owner is very personable and friendly. This isn't the first time they have enjoyed dinner here and I'm sure it won't be the last ❤️

They have cockroaches and serve food that's bad and the owner knew that the food was bad and still served it. They also have waitresses there who talk inappropriately with kids there and don't care who hears it.
Don't eat the rice pudding it's usually raw.
The best thing they have is there buttery tarts
The place goes through a lot of waitresses then they get a good one they end up getting fired for no reason .

Unfortunately, we had a very unpleasant first experience at Jiffy Grill. The atmosphere is pretty blah, but it didn't hold us back to try this dinner.
My partner ordered the special which was ribs with fries. He upgraded for poutine. I had the beef dip with fries.
The Mozza sticks as appetizers were good but presentation was bizarre. My plate arrived quickly, but with a poutine, which I hadn't ordered. My partner's plate came 12 minutes later (yes I timed it) and it was because the server forgot to punch it in (he admitted, which we appreciated). My partner didn't get his poutine but we didn't complain as the poutine I got was quite mediocre. McCain style fries with cold cheese curds and a weird chunky gravy.
So we ate seperatly. My plate was good. His ribs were ok. We expected the server to compensate for this unpleasant service on our bill but he didn't. No apologies either. I feel like we wasted $70
We will not be returning. Food is basic. Service is unacceptable.
I have eaten at this restaurant in the past with usually good service. However today I entered and went to sit in a booth near the window where I always sit. However today the waitress asked from across other booths in the Center asking if I was alone. I said that I was and she said then they wanted me to sit in the two seat booths in the Center. I hate two seater booths especially when they are glassed ever since the pandemic. Sorry not for me and I left. They lost a customer!
