I cringe when I walk into this establishment, primarily because of the plastic and decorative material they have hanging directly in front of the main door. I spoke to the staff and explained that with people walking in and out and that stuff hitting people in the face as they enter/exit, etc., it is a great way to spread germs. It's one thing to push or pull open a door by the handle, but when you have people's faces, breath, (possibly mucous), and who knows what else on layers of plastic that you must walk through to enter this establishment....that presents a health risk. The girl at the counter told me that they wipe it down frequently. I replied by saying that unless it's wiped down after each and every person walks into it, it's probably not being wiped down enough.

Ordered through UberEats. Couldn’t eat the sushi since it was so poorly put together and the salmon for the sushi and poke bowls had skin and

Do not order platters from here, we ordered a 40pc platter assuming it would be a nice arrangement of sushi, we figured there would be some filler sushi but atleast 20 pcs were filler sushi like veggie makis, fake crab makis, a few rolls that were just seaweed on rice. Very disappointed with the quality of fish as

The best sushi takeout in all of Kingston. In the picture along with this post is the crunch spicy salmon roll, my favourite. Their spicy tonkatsu ramen is also another go to of mine.

Great sushi. Miso soup was dark and rich. Super cute, cozy and tiny spot. It's take-out only but there are tables to sit at. Seating for maybe 6 people total. Only issue: no bathroom (cause it's take out).

Kame sushi is for me usually the best sushi in town. Always loved the sashimi tonight however, for some reason they chose to dowse it in sprinkled green onion....why? all you taste is onion?

It was very bad. Firstly, the food is not worth the price. For $30++ bento we got 5 thinly sliced icy fishes, a tiny bowl of cold rice and several pieces of lettuce. If there’s a way to return food and refuse to eat, I’d gladly do that. Instead we just sat in silence and ate since we’ve already paid for it. The atmosphere was tense as well as there was constant loud conversations among the staffs and the chef. I just wanted to get out of there. Couldn’t be worse.

The sashimi bento cost $30 which is equal or more expensive than most mid range sushi shop in Toronto. For that price, we got super dry rice, icy sashimi slides (butter fish and tuna) and no soy sauce (had to ask for it). The salad was strangely laced with a lot of sashimi which I can handle being Asian but I can't imagine what it would do to folks not used to spicy food. It's not just the food, everything seems odd from the moment we stepped inside. Although I didn't understand the language, there was clearly bad energy among the cashier, the sushi chef and a woman in the back. The menu was broken down into like 7 submenus which were super confusing (I've never seen any restaurants, takeout or dine in alike done that )

Manly only for takeout unless you want to eat at the small counter. A Korean owner running a Japanese sushi/ramen restaurant. Sushi donburi tasted more like Korean food for our with sesame oil but it was good.

Had the spicy tonkotsu ramen and it was very very good. It reminded me of my trip to Japan. The take out bowl had the noodles separated so they remained fresh. There was also a good amount of pork in it. Would recommend.

The only one star is for the yakibuta (marinated pork); they are thick and tastes good. Kame might be a very good restaurant three years ago, but it isn't now. If I'm paying $26 for a bowl of ramen, I would expect to receive a bowl of ramen that look like at least the one in picture 2.The egg was neither soft-boiled nor cooked in soyo sauce (just half of a boiled egg), and it was cold! What?! There were only very little vegetables in the bowl--some corns, two pieces of baby bok choy, and a little bit bean sprouts. The noodles was not Japanese ramen noodles but similar to egg noodles sold in grocery stores.I would suggest Kame not to treat customers as someone rich and hasn't had ramen before. We know what we are expecting for a bowl of Japanese ramen. So disappointed.

The food is amazing! This is my second time to order at their restaurant and I never get disappointed. I am craving for Tonkatsu Ramen Soup so we ordered from here and it is really delicious!!

We ordered Ramen, and sushi(Nigiri) bento and paid $60 the ramen was okay, the bento wasn’t that great and the portions are small, very overpriced overall, unfortunately won’t be coming back. :/
