This café is cute and cozy, with a lovely view of Market Square and City Hall. There are a few indoor seating spots, but they’re often occupied by students working on their laptops, which can be a bit frustrating. In the summer, this isn’t much of an issue since you can sit at the outdoor tables near City Hall, but in the winter, it’s less convenient.

I absolutely love their mocha—both the hot and iced versions are fantastic. They have just the right balance of coffee and chocolate without being overly sweet. I haven’t tried many other drinks here since the mocha is my go-to. Their pastries have always been fresh the few times I’ve had them.

That said, the prices are on the higher side, so it’s not a place I’d visit for a daily coffee fix. But for an occasional treat, it’s a great spot to enjoy a good drink and a cozy atmosphere.

Kingston Coffee House is one of my favorite places to enjoy a London Fog, not too sweet. Located directly across from the historic Springer Market Square, the café offers stunning views of this bustling square.

The interior is charming, and it's nice to stop there to enjoy your drink while observing the outside.

The only downside is that there is often no room left during the day. So you have to go there early enough to be able to sit there.

An experience to try 😊

best coffee in kingston, right on the square so you have a view of the ice rink in the winter and great people watching year-round!! staff are always super chill and friendly, and as a student i can always find a spot to study and have a snack here!

Expensive for what it is. Food was stale and we were given unwashed utensils. Nice view though .

I went in for coffee with my toddler and baby for take out. As soon as we walked in the man behind the counter rolled their eyes at me and was incredibly rude while I ordered on Nov 1 at 445pm. When our coffees were done he couldn’t be bothered to put a lid on and pass it over. He was incredibly rude and I will never support this overpriced coffee shop again. Also the coffee was warm and watered down. Don’t waste time.

Mocha was not sweet at all, feels like hot chocolate
Pumpkin spice was like a latte with a pinch of spice, not sweet at all

Cute coffee shop with great views. The open windows and high ceilings make this a bright and airy place to sit.

The staff are friendly and the barista is helpful and knowledgeable. My friend wanted something with caramel, but wasnt sure if the listed menu item (macchiatto) was what she was looking for. The barista overheard her conversation with the cashier,  told her he knew exactly what she wanted, and could make it for her. He delivered as promised.

We also ordered a London Fog and the drink of the week-Red Moon Raspberry London Fog. The raspberry flavour was subtle, it tasted quite similar to the London Fog, but both were nice.

They have vegan and alternative milks available (almond, soy, oat and lactose free)  and also offer a kids size.

The atmosphere was absolutely enchanting, with a stunning view that invited you to linger. A captivating lady skillfully prepared a delightful coffee that truly elevated the experience. I decided to indulge in a cold cappuccino, and I must say, it was nothing short of extraordinary—an exquisite blend of flavors that left a lasting impression.
