I had the tofu bahn mi (highly recommend) and an iced tiramisu latte (sub almond milk, no whipped cream). So good and lots of options!

Loved the vibes of Lay Low! They have a couple of clearly marked vegan items on the menu and some items can be modified vegan. I tried the brekkie board modified to be vegan and an oat maple cinnamon latte. I thought the selection of vegan items was okay (could be better) and it's a little pricey for what you get. Overall it's worth a try, and I definitely think I'll be back.

Of all of Kingston’s hip brunch spots, this might be my favourite because of its contemporary decor. It has chill vibes and low noise, making it easy to carry on conversations. The vegan options are clearly labeled and I loved the “vegan stack” that I ordered. It’s a much more creative dish than you’ll find at many other brunch spots.

the food is really expensive and not good, i got the smoothie and it was not good. came with the intention of studying, but i asked one waitress and she said it was fine. next one came along and said they didn’t have wifi for a reason a and it was not allowed. dropped a lot of money and couldn’t even study. situated close to queens but not student friendly

Food was pretty good, I got the chorizo egg breakfast wrap and a side of bacon potatoes. The wrap was nothing special, I could def make one the exact same at home, but the potatoes were delicious! Very great selection of food and beverages so I will definitely be back to try more things!

They don’t take reservations which is annoying because of how busy the place gets. There were lines of people on the waiting list and most of us had to wait outside and it was extremely cold. They should set up a reservation system if they anticipate high traffic at their restaurant. The food was ok, I’ve had way better brunch. My eggs were soggy, my potatoes hard and burnt. The waffles were the best part and we only ordered them for a desert. We ordered the tiramisu latte (one cold and one hot), not sure what the difference is between that and a regular coffee but it was not worth the extra bucks to just get a regular coffee. Our server Erica was really sweet though, liked her alot. Over all I think it’s over priced and not that great. I wouldn’t come here again.

Stopped by for a smoothie and let’s just say that I’m addicted to the Strawberry glaze!!! It has date and strawberry sauce and coconut that all make it such a yummy combo!! It’s not overly sweet and I really like it!!

If you’re looking for a brunch place with incredible drinks, you should come here!! The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is lovely. My only piece of feedback is that the eggs Benedict only has a very small drizzle of hollandaise, to the point where it’s basically just a dry poached egg on an English muffin. If you’re an eggs benny fanatic, this might not be the place! They’re very good with making vegetarian substitutions, and generally this is a fantastic new addition to the Kingston brunch scene! A must try!
