This is the only place in Kingston that gives out food on weekends. The volunteers are nice and some make you feel not only welcome but valued. The social worker is helpful as well and cares about those who are homeless. The meat loaf was the best I've ever had and the mashed potatoes are amazing. I don't know what the cook does to make them so incredible but my son and I think they are the best. There have been fights at times among those coming for a meal but the staff...
This is a great service for those on lower incomes. They really hand out meals for free as much as they could offer. I've both helped by volunteering and used my fair share where they are fully staffed and looking for something to do.
