You would think that when somebody asks for their breakfast sandwich not include butter there would be a reason for that. Stopped by this McDonald’s to pick up some breakfast for my partner and I. Asked for 2 sausage and egg McMuffins and 2 sausage McMuffins with bacon and NO BUTTER.
Get home to find out that they didn’t ask me if I wanted cheese and threw it on there anyways, and charged me for it when I’m allergic to milk.
I didn’t get a receipt so I can’t go back and tell them that they made a mistake on my order.
I wouldn’t be giving them a bad review if this was the first time it happened, but it has happened several times now and I’m sick of it.
I understand that they are just McDonalds workers and make minimum wage but after working in the food industry myself I know it’s not that hard to not mess up peoples orders.

There was a problem with my order I was in a rush so I couldn’t go back I called and talked to the gentleman on the phone and he was extremely apologetic and made it right a plus customer service couldn’t have done it better myself

They have a great team in there right now. My daughter is a MacDonald's feen, so I am regularly stopping at this place. They never have forgotten anything in my order. They are quick. Happy at the window. I just wish the fries were saltier. The no salty fries is not what we are used too in K-Town. Also, the App is horrible. Takes sooooo long to load!
Overall, this is one of the best MacDonalds in Kingston!

Not busy so I asked cashier what toy they had…she just didn’t want to check and rolled her eyes. I said my kids are collecting so I was hoping to find out which specific toy they had. She disappeared for 1 second and came back and told me…went home only to find out she hadn’t checked and just lied. The service was slow. I was the only customer waiting and my order took so long (3 happy meals). The boxes weren’t closed so I began closing them as the order was take out and the girl handing out the orders stood directly in front of me and didn’t even attempt to help. Just overall such lazy and frustrating service.

My husband and I stopped in tonight (December 3 2025) to get the Grinch Happy meals for our kiddos. While I understand staffing shortages and new trainees, waiting 46 minutes for your food is over the top. Then to have the order completely wrong and missing items, just adds to the frustration. The food was ice cold and the bread was rock hard. When I placed my order I specifically asked if they had the Grinch socks in because that was the whole reason we were getting it, I was told yes, however when I got my meal there were no socks and I was told they were sold out. I took a photo of my receipt and took a photo of my order when I got it finally for the time stamp, so you can see the 45 minutes of waiting is truthfu.

Very slow drive through, and they will ignore your code for points/discounts
Cannot say enough about the positive interaction my family and I had tonight at Macdonalds on Gardiners. I’m not normally one to leave a review but the food was perfect and both young women working the drive thru (Ellie And Alana) were such sweet, smiley and understanding people despite our hectic order. Thanks girls!

Staff are friendly, but I've been through the drive-thru too many times where the order has been incomplete or partially incorrect.

Was the first time that my McDonald's app finally worked!! It was ok, a little frustrating at first but then it got better. Our order was brought out to us so quickly and the guy was very nice.

Waiting time is very high. My sandwich is not hot.
Get the manager to unlock the handicap washroom , ahead of needing it as he was busy and there was food order counter and pickup, line up. Felt like high school, need not the teacher's but the principal's permission to go to washroom. A little humour but not really. It made me so frustrated I forgot to get the coffee I had came in for. Find a better way!
