The food was good, when you could get it. Meat delivered quickly but everything else took 30+ minutes or just didn't come. You miss out on the experience and the meal as a whole with just lobs of meat, then sides come once, then more meat and if you're lucky cold rice. Staff seemed apathetic and told me it happens all the time. If it's easy enough to prepare the meat trays, prepare the sides in advance too. It can't be more difficult or logistically complicated to put pickles, lettuce, or sauce in a dish and cover it in advance.

Left feeling cheated out of $100.

Excellent date night spot, not too busy in the winter months. You grill your own food, which you order off your personal phone using a QR code. 2hrs to order then 15mins after the time limit to finish whichever food is left at your table. Small selection of vegetables though and the restaurant itself was not very warm. Definitely going back in the warmer months. Not a large dessert menu.

The oven is very poorly designed. The stove plate is too small and the firepower range is small. There is only a small area in the middle that can be grilled. If the fat drips down, the flames will rise and burn the meat. If there are many people, you will have to wait a long time to eat. . The service was great and the food came out quickly. . .

We went for dinner and had a great experience. We were a bit confused about the ordering process at first, however it was quite easy to get used to. First we had to scan a QR code to access the menu, and then we were able to order as many small plates as we wanted. The plates were then delivered to the table very quickly. The food was very good, we recommend getting the miso pork belly. The service was great! We will be coming back for sure. Thank you for a great dinner!

The all you can eat grill had a fair selection of meat that were decent in quality. The beef was very tender. There wasn’t the greatest selection in side dishes and our grill seemed dirty when we were seated. Overall though, the service was great. Servers were attentive, constantly checked in and took away dirty plates and the food was served quickly. Some of the meat didn’t taste very fresh but overall, not bad for all you can eat.

Wish i could do no stars… ordered and waited for ONE HOUR before they actually served up. One hour!!!! That was not fun 🙂😡😡 ( why was the food so black and dirty btw?????

Waited for ONE HOUR before they served up. talked to the waiters three times, they say it was a technical issue but excuse me?!! The service was bad too, they didn’t even
know which order was for which table tbh. It’s absolutely not worth it for such a pricy meal.

Pros: fresh food, cleanliness is good, nice lights.
Con’s: The problem as we dined there was that although the concept of cooking your own food seemed fun, it was very slow and we were still starving after 1 hour in;
The service was a bit cold and they knew nothing about certain items on the menu.
One of the most disappointing things about the restaurant you should know: Discrimination against invisible disabilities. The management team refused to work with us on that and one of us had very bad experience. We still tipped a lot but we won’t be back. If you have been to similar places in Toronto then you would probably be surprised by the little value vs the price here.
P.S., you guys might want to update your google maps page to let people know you’re no longer a Chinese restaurant. It’s now a Japanese barbecue place but with very little Japanese food on the menu..

So excited to have a Japanese BBQ place in Kingston! We came at a busy time but were seated after 15 mins. Fast service and I like how ordering is handled on our phones. Thank you for the great service :)
