Loved the traditional diner atmosphere here . Had the pork chops with home made mashed potatoes and vegetables. It was great diner food. To top it all had my favourite home made strawberry milkshake, highly recommended 👍

This is a diner from another time sent to the future for all the right reasons.
The food is fresh and made to order from scratch. Old school recipes take you back with value, flavour and zero attempt to be anything other than simple, good delicious food.
The special is always the way to go in a place like this, and you can never do wrong with the fries(hand cut and pillowy soft, you actually taste potatoes, maybe Kingston's best) or the soup which is made daily and spares nothing in the name of flavour.
I can't speak enough about the hospitality. When you walk in you're greeted with a warm smile and a throw back room that is not at home in a 40s movie than 2025, but I'm the best of ways. Service was prompt and humble, honestly it made us feel at home and welcome and just, happy to be there.
If you haven't been you have to go, if you have, you should probably be planning to go back.
I'm a huge fan of the club sandwich and I'm my opinion this is the best one in town. Simple good for done well. It's perfect.

Just in Kingston for the day. What a gem of a place. I shared a sandwich and fries with my husband. Lovely food and super quick service too. Lovely diner with a good atmosphere.

The place has a nice feel to it. We got seated right away. The server was pretty quick to serve and the menu has most of the breakfast items you would typically have.
Service was quick and our food came in really fast (suspiciously fast - I think it was pre-made already). The food is ok and the home fries were our least favorite. We expected it to be a crispy but it was more casserole style. Overall just average food with great service.
Talk about your 1950's throwback! I haven't been to a place like this since I was a kid. Very old, very basic diner, its better days behind it, still soldering along serving decent soups, salads, sandwiches, and the usual. A bit depressing, really, despite the enthusiastic service.

This is definitely a cute, homey diner and I don’t think the food is bad, not great though, however the low rating goes to the man that takes the payment at the front door, unbelievably rude, shouted at us multiple times, and grabbing stuff aggressively out of our hands, the waitress was extremely nice and helpful but the man made it an uncomfortable experience to eat there.
