One Eyed Jack Restaurant + Bar Kingston

We had a birthday dinner with a group of friends and everything was top notch! Rob the magician was a great addition to our night. Our friend and I watched him like a hawk, but we couldn’t figure it out- a true testament to him being great at what he does.

Our server Jess was hilarious, a true gem. She made sure we were well taken care of at all times. She definitely went above and beyond for our crazy and loud selves. I would sit in her section any day!

The food was all really great too with large portion sizes. We had apps and main courses and everything was so tasty!

One last thing is, I just want to give a nod to whoever was controlling the music in there (Tuesday night). It was my fave genre (Dancehall) and basically nowhere in Kingston I’ve gone to ever plays it! So thank you for that!

I met Vanessa for the first time tonight and she instantly made me feel welcome. We bonded over both having lived in Montreal and shared a few personal stories that made the conversation feel real and effortless. On top if being a great bartender, she's an amazing listener with a warm, genuine personality. It felt like meeting an old friend for the first time.

Vanessa is an absolutely fantastic bartender! She’s incredibly welcoming and always makes you feel right at home the moment you sit down. Her drink recommendations are spot on. You can tell she really cares about her guests. The atmosphere is always better when she’s behind the bar. Highly recommend stopping by when she’s working! She deserves a raise!
