One Eyed Jack Restaurant + Bar Kingston

Have heard so many good things about this restaurant since it opened so thought we’d give it a go tonight for dinner. Service was amazing but the food WOW what a disappointment. We started with an appetizer “spinach Dip w Pita slices” when it arrived at our table it included a good size bowl of dip but only had 6 small slices of pita and the dip Tasted like it was definitely not made in house. For our main course we got burgers, I ordered the double smash burger with melted brie cheese, tomato jam and horseradish mayo. My friend ordered the Swiss Mushroom burger w garlic aioli. Main course arrived to the table and the plates looked a little empty! I took the bun off the top of my burger to take a peek and noticed a small drop of the tomato jam in the middle of the burger with a small slice of brie. Took my first bite and there was absolutely no taste and I can definitely say they forgot to put the horseradish mayo on as it was dry as it could be. My friend’s meal was just as bad, hardly any Swiss cheese, couple small mushrooms and absolutely no garlic aioli, took the bun off and would have swore it was a Costco meat paddy! We were both extremely disappointed and I would not recommend this restaurant. Oh by the way onion rings, fries were good but how hard is it to screw up onion rings and fries.

Love this place!! The owner or manager is amazing at making sure customers get what they need and prioritize accordingly even on their busy nights! Definitely my go to place! Service is great, friendly service!

My sister in law made a reservation specifically stating a table that was wheelchair accessible would be needed as my 9 year old uses a wheelchair. We arrived at the restaurant to find the table they reserved for us was bar height. I explained to the staff (and it was evident as my child was in her wheelchair) that a regular height table would be needed. The staff did nothing to rectify the situation and all they said was "that's all we have, we're really busy". There was no apology or no attempt to find an accessible table for my daughter, one that would allow her to sit with her family to celebrate her Uncle's Birthday. Absolutely appalling! I guess this restaurant doesn't care about inclusivity or support those with physical disabilities! Here's a hint, do better!

We had good dining experience in the town

Pepsi was flat onion rings dripping in grease told waitress who said oh sorry and was not until we were leaving she said can I ask my manager to swap them out after second complaint. Tomato on club was green and hard. Very noisy. Kid was bouncing a basket ball beside us for half the meal.

Sophie was AWESOME!!! So prompt. Quick and attentive. Food was amazing. So many choices. The only negative is that it is a loud venue. Acoustics are meh. But I LOVE everything else. Will definitely be back

Had mac and cheese with BBQ brisket.
Mac and cheese not so much. It wasn't thick and gewy like I was hoping.
Lobster dip was good.

Maddie and Jessica gave the best service there is. My friend was served dry ribs at first and they were able to replace it immediately with a better one. Maddie was very accommodating and chill, very professional on her job. We would love to come back here again!
