I have visited this restaurant on three occasions and tried different things every time. I have been disappointed every time. The food lacks flavour, service is terrible, and the washrooms are deplorable. I am done with this place. I do not recommend.

I’m sorry, but the food tasted bad. The Pad Thai tasted like ketchup stir-fried noodles, and there was no service because the food was super salty and no one came to refill our water. By the way, this cost $20. Plus tips and taxes, it would probably come to about $30.

As a pho enthusiast, this place is 7/10.
(My Thai wife gives it a 7/10 as well).
Compared to the pho you can get in the GTA, this place is okay. I can see the broth is watered down. Not sure why there is chicken in my beef pho. No beef tripe offered on the menu.
Service could be improved: the guys working should talk to their customers more rather than talk amongst themselves. Again, for a Vietnamese restaurant, service is subpar from what I typically receive in the GTA.
FYI: debit only (no credit). Cash (10% discount).

First time at this restaurant. Asked for tea and was told they are too busy to make tea with no apologies but just matter of fact. Never been to a Vietnamese restaurant that doesn’t serve tea? It was a really cold night and I was looking forward to a hot cup of tea. The server arrived with the wrong order. By the time they got our order correct the soup was no longer steaming hot. The broth was rather bland and lacked any aromatics like coriander or anything else other than green onions. They were extremely rushed looking and the restaurant wasn’t full yet. Wasn’t a good pho experience. I wouldn’t recommend the restaurant .

Ok Kingston, I see you.. Pho Kingston is nestled away from all the hustle and bustle. I think it’s definitely a hidden gem. More people should visit here, cuz it’s pretty authentic! I had the chicken bun vermicelli and shrimp fresh cold rolls it was all very tasty! Next time i’ll try the pho..

The Chicken Pad Thai is single handedly the worst we have ever eaten EVER. The sauce seems to be some sort of ketchup type and the taste is atrocious. Sorry to say I had to spit it out. The prices do NOT justify the food. As someone that is Asian that constantly eats good Viet food including Michelin bib gourmand Pad Thai that’s also priced the same IN the city….. This is so bad I am speechless. These reviews must not know what good authentic Viet food tastes like….

Ordered the vegetable and tofu Pho with beef broth + extra hoisin and the vegetarian spring rolls with fish sauce. Instead of fish sauce, I was sent 1oz of grocery store quality Thai sweet chili sauce. I was also sent 1oz of mixed hoisin/sriracha total. The spring rolls were literally dripping in grease, and the soup broth was either not beef broth at all, or the least flavourful beef broth I’ve ever tasted. With no extra hoisin to salvage the soup, the whole meal was a write off. Would not recommend.
It’s been awhile since we’ve been to Pho Kingston, and it’s going to be even longer before we go back. The food was average, the service is always slow and this time they were running the smoothie machine so often we couldn’t hear each other speak and we were at the furthest table from the machine. We had to stop talking and wait for the grinding noise to stop.
Also a pet peeve of mine is restaurants that serve drinks in a cans, give me a glass and some ice… keep the can in the kitchen.. I had to ask three times for a glass and some ice.
