Take out only at time of this review. Food is spicy but good. Closest to authentic Pakistani restaurant in Kingston.

One of the best biryani i have ever had

Little quantity for the price, vegetable not cooked properly, too much oil. The complementary additional rice is just the way to reduce the quantity of the main dish, which was also not up to the mark. They should always ask the customer, if they need so called complementary rice. Upon enquiring, the staff expained in rude manner. I'll never go back again or recommend anyone. This is my last visit to this restaurant.

During my tenure of approximately two years in Napanee, I frequently visited Rahim's restaurant in Kingston after work. The exceptional quality of the cuisine and the graciousness of the owners left a lasting impression on me. I eagerly anticipate my next opportunity to visit Kingston, as I intend to dine at Rahim's on multiple occasions.

Ordered Lahori Chicken, it was not properly cooked and it had an unpleasant smell. The rice was decent but I won't be going again.

Rahim’s Cuisine is an alright place to go if you’re looking for some Pakistani food in Kingston. During our time there we ordered various curries and biryani. The biryani was good, it was a little different to the usual Pakistani styled biryani I had expected, however, it was good. The curries, however, we’re not up-to standard. Firstly, the quality of the curry was decent in terms of freshness and ingredients, however, the taste was not great. For the price you’re paying you’d expect the curry to taste amazing, but it was satisfactory. Secondly, the quantity of the curries was too small. It wasn’t worth the price.Overall if anyone is interested in visiting I would recommend the biryanis, good quantity and decent taste.

We used to come here for dine-in before the pandemic when they still had the all-you-can-eat buffet and it was always great.Since the pandemic we have been getting take outs from there at least once a month and have always enjoyed the food. Not sure what the other reviews are talking about in terms of taste and quality/quantity. It’s a lot of food, especially for the price. We usually get chicken and vegetarian dishes and it’s always tasty and hot. It’s a small family-run business, since the pandemic it’s only Rahim and his wife working there. We never had a bad experience with them and hope they continue to make delicious food for years to come.

Dated but comfortable interior seating.Service was reasonable - no issues, some communication challenges but nothing noteworthy.Food was excellent, chicken was perfectly cooked and succulent.Popadoms were heavily oiled, tasted good but the visible oil droplet coating would deter some.

Extremely disappointing ordered the chicken briyani. The rice was NOT flavourful at all very bland. Very questionable chicken pieces in there definitely was not cooked with the rice. It was like heated up and throw in.Probably was good at one point but the owners feel like they do not care.

With all due respect to previous reviews. We went because of those reviews , very dessapointed in food quality and cleanliness unfortunately being a halal restaurant they keep the premises clean it cost nothing but a little caring. I will not be visiting again
