While the Lemon Pepper wings were incredibly delicious, wonderful crispiness, good amount of flavour, etc.. my server (Faith) couldn't have been less interested in me. She would rather spend her time chatting up the (presumably) regulars at the end of the bar rather than check on me, or anything of the sort. I understand banter with patrons at the bar is necessary but this was constant and I felt like a complete afterthought. A real shame cause the wings were great.

Server and staff were great, the chicken in the salad looked like leftovers drenched in hot sauce, and the seating could be a little more comfortable. I would go back and try a burger, like my friend had last time.

Visited on September 20, 2020 in the evening.Located in a commercial sector in western Kingston, just a few steps from Riverhead Brewing Company. Now I can't compare with the downtown location because I've never been there yet. It's in a building shared with other restaurants, it has a heated patio, there a dining room and bar section, both of them are medium size. The food menu is quite varied, not really pub fair, I had the chicken club with smoked bacon, tomato relish and basil aioli. The beer selection is not that bad, half is craft and some of them are local, I had Matron Janky IPA from Bloomfield (PEC). Very friendly staff. If the ideal of going downtown to eat and drink is not your thing!

Went on a Saturday night for dinner and it was packed. Understandably so. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. Great music in the background too. The food did take a bit longer than I thought it would, but it was worth the wait!

We are both requiring of GF... and they do not represent this well at all unfortunately. As they had no GF Nan or breads of any sort they just dumped masses of olives on the plate to replace. The service was very friendly but very slow.... on a plus they offer a 6oz glass of wine for the same price others do a 5oz. A matter becoming a big issue in this country and especially Kingston is the escalation of Toxic US tipping practices... and this place is over the top. It seems to start at 18% post tax and go up massively. Paying 18% for slow service, on top of tax, and not servicing GF as advertised is not good at all..... the rest of the tip suggestion just nuts. In the US people make 5 bucks or less and ask for 10 pre tax or 15-20 pre tax if top notch food and service. Here we pay 15-22 plus tip. Not on and not impressed this restaurant is taking this toxic stance instead of paying a living wage and ending tipping all together. Will north American restaurants never learn what the rest of the world has known for generations? UGH.... now had it not take 2 hrs for a drink and 2 apps maybe no rant.

$14 for a grilled cheese on a kids menu? $19 for an ok overcooked burger and green salad? A draft beer and chocolate milk. Yep, $70 with tip for lunch with my 12 year old. Much better value elsewhere.

Our party of 2 stood at the front door for about 15 minutes while 2 servers stood off to the side ignoring their tables, chatting and flirting with each other, we eventually approached them and asked if we were supposed to seat our selves or ??? As we had never been to this restaurant and there was no signage to tell us to “wait to be seated” or “seat yourself” … the server we asked brought us ONE menu, tossed it on the table and didn’t return the rest of the night even tho we were seated in HIS section. The only person actually doing their job was the bar tender and he was slammed as it was a busy Friday night and only 3 tables eating but several people at the bar drinking, THE BAR TENDER stopped what he was doing and came over to our table after about half an hour to ask if we wanted something to drink, he then came back a second time dropping off our very weak mixed drinks (Spiced rum and coke and a Caesar) to see if we wanted food. We said yes and ordered 2 Fried Chicken 2.0 meals with poutine. The whole time the other server sat on his phone or walked around pretending to work but literally not doing anything at one point we thought he left because we hadn’t seen him in over 40 min. We waited roughly 35-40 minutes to get our bill AFTER we had asked for it twice. Original server that did absolutely nothing finally brought us our bill and when we paid with debit on the machine the server quickly took the machine looked at the screen, seen we didn’t leave a tip (because we like to leave the tip in cash on the table) he gave us a dirty look, scoffed and stormed away! Service was garbage (other than the bar tender working his butt off) and we won’t be returning for that reason. Side note we got 2 drinks and 2 entrees and our bill was $90!! That’s insane for the portion size. Food was tasty but not worth $90
