Food was pretty good but they said it would take 15-20 minutes and it took about 1 hour and I was standing in the restaurant for 45 minutes. Person working in the front said I would only have to wait an additional 5 when I arrived. Then I heard him tell people on the phone that the food will only take 15-20. Restaurant was full of people waiting for over 40 minutes like me. I would have been fine waiting if I didn’t hear the person lying over and over again to other customers about the wait times. If it was honest then it’s fine, but lying to customers is just strange. Especially when I heard the workers talking to other employees about how busy it was and they knew the wait times. Pad thai was small and not flavourful unfortunately but the soup was good.

Been going here for 6 years now and the taste and quality has not changed one bit! You can get two balanced meals out of every dish (even the soups) but you will want your own. I recommend the bamboo curries (red is good for some spice, green for extreme spice), panang curry, and hot and sour bamboo soup.

Been going to Royal Angkor for over 10 years. Consistently great food with wonderful sauces. I especially recommend the Siam Delight which is sweet and an interesting umami flavour. The Golden chicken is great for those who like space and a punch of curry flavour. The red curry chicken is sweet and has a gritty sauce which I enjoy. The portion sizes have gone down slightly over the years while the prices have gone up. This has happened across the entire industry though.Nice, hard-working staff. This place is takeout only.

Parking: Street parking.

Thank you so much Vath (owner and head chef) and Savan (his son, also chef), and Isaac (who took my order). The food is absolutely phenomenal as is the customer service!! I am vegetarian and the red bamboo vegetable curry and tofu spring rolls are some of the best I’ve ever had! Thank you for being so warm and thoughtful towards your customers such as myself. It’s been Vath’s life dream to open his own restaurant and he’s worked incredibly hard to get to where he is today — I will be sure to keep supporting your business and I encourage everyone to come here! You must try this place out!!

I was looking for a really good Pad Thai with a little spice instead of the usual sweet sauce. A friend suggested Royal Angkor and I'm so glad she did. The server that took my order was very helpful when I explained what I had at another restaurant. She let me know that all the sauce is made to order and suggested I could make it a bit more spicy and it was perfect. I also tried the coconut chicken soup and it was very nice. I loved the nice burst of lemony freshness it packed. Their prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes were a good size. I'll be going back to try out some different items that caught my eye when I was browsing their menu online.
