I highly recommend this bar. I do not reside in Kingston yet I come often to visit family and friends and I always stop at the Royal Tavern. Dylan the bartender and I have made ourselves quite good friends over the many encounters. He is a great staff member that contributes much more than just behind the bar. Dylan adds to the friendly and happy atmosphere of the bar. A lady named Maddy is also very kind and helpful. I have been on several different nights including karaoke nights and also live music bands. Very enjoyable all around.
