It was hard for me to find a sushi place in Kingston, but i decided to try Sakura and was not disappointed
The service was fast and good. However, some of the dishes seemed to have changed style or presentation since the pictures were taken.
It usually won't impact food much, but with Sushi, it defined the shape and texture.
Very rushed when they had 20 minutes until close. The food was great but the service needed work. The slamming of the plates was a little over board
Food was great!! And service was okay. BUT I DID NOT GET MY MELON CANDY!!! I am fuming I only went there with my family because I know they have them there PLEASE!! Do better next time!!
Great place.
I have been coming here for a few years now and I always enjoy my meal and the food arrives quickly. But the restaurant itself is looking run down outside; especially with the front doors boarded up and the women's bathroom yesterday had sticky floors and needed cleaning, it also appeared one of the toilets was leaking water as there were many small puddles and condensation around the toilet's plumbing. In addition, one of the employees used the bathroom and then just ran her hands under some water with no soap and went back to pouring drinks, 🤢 yuck. Don't think I will come back again. Do better!

It was clean and food was ok.
Never have had a bad experience here
This will be my last time going to Sukura. This afternoon, there was a cockroach in my sushi 🤮ðŸ˜. When I picked up my first eel sushi, some of the rice fell off. The first bite of food was crunchy ðŸ˜. After I took the second bite of my food, I saw something black from my rice that fell off. It was a big cockroach. I am traumatized. The chef was kind and apologized and said they are having pest problems and they are trying their best. He offered us free food but I lost my appetite.

Nice place but the menus kind of limited the service was fine
Average atmosphere. Servers could care less. That will be like most ayce I think. The menu is limited. Thats what surprised me b most. The prices are like all other places, $35+ for dinner, just the menu didn’t give you a ton of options. You’re better off to go to the Mandarin next door. Actually.
If your looking for an all you can eat restaurant with tons of different options than go no further. Sakura offers a wide selection of Japanese and Thai dishes. The food is very fresh and it tastes great! The service is very good, there are always plenty of staff picking up plates and refilling drinks. If you're looking to try sushi for the first time or you are looking to try sushi again than I definitely recommend this restaurant!
Delicious food and great quality price range
The staff is friendly, especially Anti—we call her that because she seems to be the senior waitress and wears glasses. She always takes great care of us and is incredibly kind and professional. We dine at Sakura about 3 to 5 times a month.
