I am from South Korea and always miss home countyr meal. This place is the best. If you looked for luxurious atmosphere, great customer service like you get in fancy restaurant, find somewhere else. This is the place I always want to go. You may have wrong impression that the lady in that place seems not quite kind and friendly, I would say that one of those cultural differences. She is actually such a good hearted person I've ever met.

I came here for lunch and, unfortunately, the experience was mostly disappointing. The service was handled by a mother–daughter team, and the mother was extremely rude from the moment we walked in. No greeting, no warmth, and an overall attitude that made the entire meal uncomfortable.
We ordered the Gamjatang, the Dolsot Bibimbap with beef, and the Kampoongki fried chicken.
The Gamjatang was the highlight. It tasted very authentic, the broth had great depth, and the pork was tender and easy to chew. It felt like a proper Korean home-style soup and was the only dish that really stood out in a positive way.
The Dolsot Bibimbap also looked and tasted good—the flavours were solid and the ingredients were fresh. The issue wasn’t the taste; it was the portion size. Even though it came in a stone bowl, it didn’t feel like a full meal, and I left hungry afterwards, which shouldn’t be the case for a dish that’s normally quite filling.
The Kampoongki, however, was a complete miss. Instead of Korean fried chicken, it tasted exactly like General Tao chicken — thick batter with barely any chicken and no crispiness whatsoever. It didn’t resemble authentic Korean fried chicken in flavour or texture. This was a big disappointment!
Overall, aside from the Gamjatang and the decent flavour of the Bibimbap, the meal was overshadowed by rude service, small portions, and disappointing dishes. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t return or recommend this restaurant.
