Finally a middle eastern restaurant in Kingston that makes my Mediterranean taste buds smile. As a person of Mediterranean origin I can be quite picky with cultural dishes. My family really enjoys the chicken shawarma and our teens devour it every time. Very fresh healthy and excellent portions for a reasonable price. Keep up the great work!
We used to get this regularly when we lived in Kingston. Now we live outside Kingston and treat ourselves when we do come to Kingston. Amazing flavours and quality, large portions. Shawarma el Mina never disappoints.
Exceptional quality falafel, shawarma, etc, but what really makes El Mina stand out are the various side dishes. At other places, those things are an afterthought, but they give attention to detail throughout the full menu.
The flavoured yellow rice really stands out.
For something different, try the stuffed grape leaves.
