Have to give it one star. We drove by and the sign specifically says ‘dine-in’. We spent 20 minutes finding a parking spot and walking to the restaurant to find a sign on the door saying it’s only takeout and delivery which was confirmed by looking in the window and seeing chair and tables stacked.

I've been ordering the General Tao Chicken from Silver Wok since 2015, I haven't lived in Kingston since 2020 but I still make sure to get it any time I'm passing through. It's simply the best General Tao I've ever had, I've searched across North America and I haven't found anything close. This is a long overdue review. I'm grabbing three orders to go before I head out of town, it travels well and keeps well in the freezer too.

I ate good Chinese food in Toronto for years, and this is NOT even close. Stale tasting to the point we were worried about meat food poisoning, too salty, too much fatty sauces, etc.

We checked out this place during our visit to Kingston. On their recommendation, we tried the General Tao and fried rice combo, which came with an egg roll. The food was excellent, and the service was just as impressive. Definitely recommended!

I have been searching for the old school authentic take out for years, I am beyond happy with the results! Generous portions, sweet and sour is not watered down, chicken is delicious! I would gladly recommend to anyone searching near the water. Authentic oriental is exactly what this place is. 5 stars every day

I may be biased as my family and I personally know the owner of the restaurant but THIS IS Kingstons best Chinese Restaurant. They will always greet you with kindness and hospitality, always a phenomenal help over the phone when looking for specific dishes. Been going here as a kid and the food has always been a blessing to have for dinner. Please get some takeout here!
