The ingredients are fresh, the portions are generous, and the food is delicious.

First the good news. The food was good. We had six different dishes all of which were interesting and tasted good.

The service was extremely poor, very little attention from any staff. No water brought to the table.

They need to make things bettter and make people’s visit a good visit instead of people sitting around wondering if they will ever get served.

Went there for my birthday dinner, we’re a pretty big table, but they still found a way to accommodate all of us and make us feel welcome. Service was amazing, food was delicious, and overall experience was one of a kind in the best way possible. I would 100% come back and I recommend this place if you are looking for a nice sushi dinner along friends or loved ones.

We were disappointed in the food the last few times. We have been going there for 15 plus years and we miss the real fresh sushi that was served. The passion and friendly vibe seems to be gone too? Something is missing. The outdated interior and bathrooms are very visible. Kudos though to the young woman who served with a smile last week. Sorry but we will not return or recommend anymore.

Very rude service. If you don’t want your dining experience ruined, I’d recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Consistently top quality, generous rolls and fresh, beautifully presented fish. I’ve eaten here for over 5 years and Sima never disappoints. Fast, friendly service. A gem in downtown Kingston.

A cozy spot but with tables moving quick, you can see the focus of the everyday sweat of the studious owners who constantly keep watch over what is one of the best sushi places in ontario, perfect portions and price and everything is vibrant and fresh with a nice balance of creaminess or bite, smoked salmon wrapped in Juliettes of cucumber? Exceptional...thank you sima sushi...exceptional everytime!

Unassuming spot that turned out to be a hidden gem. Next time we are in Kingston we will make a point of stopping for sushi.

Ordered two crunchy spicy tuna rolls.... easily the worst sushi we've eaten. Mealy, tasteless tuna; reminded us of something from a can.
