Went for my husband’s Christmas work party!
I was nervous as it is a brewery and I have a severe gluten intolerance, and even a little cross contamination can make me extremely ill! I was very surprised to learn they had Gluten Free options! They not only made me the BEST gluten free pizza I have ever had in my life! But they also took my allergies extremely seriously. They admitted to cross contamination happening when they made my initial pizza- came out to ask about the severity of my allergies- and when I said I could not have any cross contamination, without hesitation they started over and made a completely new pizza, no guilt, no blaming me for being picky, just smiles on their faces! I have NEVER EXPERIENCED BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE IN MY LIFE! and I felt so taken care of and comfortable eating there! Had no issues with the food and it was amazing! Came to find out that Spencer’s (owner or manager- unsure) mom has celiac disease! So he made absolute sure that I had the same (if not better) experience than everyone else there. And my server, Jessica, was the absolute kindest! 10 star service, 10 star kindness, 10 star delicious and 10 star accommodation efforts! Absolutely was blown away as eating out has become something I dread as my allergies always makes me feel like I’m burdening staff- but that was 1000% not the case here! Jessica and Spence truly did an outstanding job! Definitely will be going back! And would 1000% recommend to others!

The cooks are amazing and the atmosphere is Good.

We had such a great experience there! First time at the brewery and it won’t be the last! After a 2 1/2 hour drive to our daughters hockey game, it was the perfect place to spend some time … from the gorgeous lit up patio, live music, to our server Jessica who went above and beyond with her knowledge of what craft beers we would like and even offering a few extra samples of what she thought we would enjoy…. And we certainly did! It was our first but won’t be our last visit to this brewery! Definitely a must-stop next time in Kingston!

We went in for drinks and a comedy show.

Show was solid, lots of variety in the humour but a local kid who was 17 stole the show.

Place was lively, staff was friendly, food was good.

The manager/owner? Spencer was really chill and accomodating. Seems like he's really turned the place around from before.

We got a pint glass as a memory of the night and my lady brought home some cans of her the beer she had to enjoy later.

Looking forward to coming back!

I highly recommend their wood fired pizza.

Beautiful fall weather so we enjoyed the patio and live music (each Sunday!)

Have had their beer before from the LCBO but what a great brewery. Lots of selection. We had the NEIPA and the Sol Juice IPA with a Hawaiian pizza from their wood fired pizza oven.

Highly recommend visiting and supporting local.

Be careful and double check the prices with your server before ordering. Ordered a $5.75 beer and was charged $11.50 - “oops our menu is out of date”. Better options that are more honest in town.

The “refund of the difference” was 2 loonies handed over at the table - when the difference between what I ordered and what I was charged was $7.50 (with tax/tip). Not a huge sum, but felt a little insulting.

Spearhead Brewery never disappoints! I always come for the Hawaiian Style Pale Ale (it’s my absolute favorite), but what truly made this visit special was our server, Ava. She was kind, friendly, and had such a great sense of humor that she made the whole experience unforgettable. It’s rare to come across service that leaves such a lasting impression, but Ava absolutely did. We’ll be returning not just for the beer, but because of her amazing hospitality!

Came in as we heard it’s now open and we came for some beers we had Ava she was lovely and very well spoken!!

Always so incredibly happy with the beer and service here! I’m not local, so when I am in Kingston, I stop in and grab some beers to go and the team goes above and beyond.
