Extremely disappointing experience. I visited this Starbucks with my mom (inside Loblaws on Princess Street). The barista at the counter clearly saw my mom standing in front of her but completely ignored her — no greeting, no acknowledgment, nothing. When I asked a question, I was also ignored until I repeated myself, and then received a very cold response. My mom and I were both polite, and the store was still open. It genuinely felt like we were being refused service. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional.
At the end, I went back to ask for her name. She told me her name was “Carly,” but I’m not sure if that was accurate, as she was not wearing a name tag. She appeared to be a white woman in her 30s.

I frequent this Starbucks quite a bit and the barista Sona is always very pleasant and helpful.

After seeing the low ratings for this place I thought I should post after just having a positive experience there. Went. Got served immediately. Ordered Grande Flat White. Served promptly. Tasted the usual great. No complaints. Staff were friendly.

This is the most poorly managed Starbucks I've ever been in, and I've been in a lot of Starbucks.
The management here is so incompetent that I genuinely have no idea how this place is still in business. I would like to know what failed businesses student bought this place and assigned it the worst possible managers.
Why does this location only ever have one employee? Why does this location fail all its customer service checkpoints? Why is it the worst reviewed Starbucks in Kingston? Look no further than poor management and owners that should go back to business school basics.

Extremely, extremely slow service. Waited 20 minutes for a cappuccino while listening to the staff complain about how they are understaffed. Horrible experience please step it up.
This is the worst SB we’ve been to. They don’t make the drinks right every time we come here and this time I asked them about it and they were so rude! They argue with each other and saying things like we weren’t just in front of them and when they finally confirmed that they did it wrong the girl was like “okay fine give me your drink and let’s get this over with” and I said thank you after and they were like yeah you’re welcome in a sarcastic tone. They seem not happy while doing drinks. The only reason we order here a lot is because it’s inside loblaws.

Sorry but, this had to be the worst SB I've been to. It's convenient because it's in a Loblaw's. Unfortunately convenience doesn't come with great service. After ordering a Grande Pike, I sat there waiting.... And waiting, then asked where my coffee and they said it'll be 5 min as they ran out. They offered an Americana, but that's not what I ordered. If they said in the first place that it would be 5 min I would have either changed my mind or waited for the brew. Instead they just took my order and without communication of being out. After they served me, they gave me the wrong size. I was the only customer being served.

some lady was extremely mean to me and my friends for no reason. We got a venti and a tall and this girl got us 2 grandes. Then when we went up to ask for the right drink she got very mad at us and stated yelling at us. My friend Paid for a venti as wel. She also got almost all of our drinks wrong. This was the worse sratbucks experience of my life.

Went to the Starbucks in the Loblaws on Princess St. on Saturday. I ordered a tall lavender latte no ice with 2%- got a grande. Ordered a salted caramel cold brew- no ice- forgot to specify size- she didn’t ask-instead she gave me a grande vanilla cold brew. When she was making the cold brew she was adding ice- I asked if it was mine and she said it was- so I clarified no ice. I also and ordered a chocolate croissant- it wasn’t warmed up. So disappointing.
I came today to pick up my drink and Cheese Danish. Not to mention if the lady made them was so rude when i asked her she just looked at me and didnt say anything. Also i ordered online with Cheese Danish and i wanted it warmed up but when i got home she didnt warm it up. When i ordered it was incl warmed . I didnt want to eat cold food in the winter time ? . Bonus , they dont know how to make the drink , i custom my drink and taste always like garbage , waste my money for the worst drink
