I wouldn’t normally review Swiss Chalet - it’s always consistent, always tasty, right? What set our visit apart this time was the outstanding service we received from Allie. She was super pleasant, competent and genuine. On a busy night (it’s was their two can done deal), where all staff were clearly working hard, we didn’t feel rushed and felt extremely well taken care of. Next time we are there, we will ask for Allie to be our server.

Went to swiss chalet tonight. I cannot praise enough about the service we had. Talia was exceptional. Food was typical. Hot and yummy. No complaints there.

Do not order through uber eats. Very frustrated after receiving my order with half of the items missing. Before requesting a refund through uber I called the restaurant to see if they could do anything for me. The lady was kind on the phone but ultimately told me there was nothing she could do unless I had used their delivery service. Went back to uber eats help page, requested my refund and received $5.66 in uber cash. Yet it would cost triple the amount, $14.31, to reorder my missing items, not including a tip for the delivery driver. This feels like theft? Why would you offer BOGO if you’re only going to send half of the ordered items?

Uber ed it to the KG hospital quick turnaround time on supper time BOGO special . Hot right and good portions AND didn’t forget cutlery or condiments !

We went to enjoy a family dinner on Wednesday evening. We walked in just before 6pm and there was a LOT of people in the waiting area. There was visibly lots of clean available tables but I overheard the manager say they didnt have enough staff on because not usually busy. We waited 15min to be seated and then after our order was taken, we didnt see our server for about 30min when she told us the kitchen was a bit backed up and it shouldnt be long. 3 young kids getting restless but finally the food came. It was okay but I've had better food and service unfortunately. May be better idea to over staff your restaurant in preparation for busy as its easier to send staff home early than not be able to properly serve all the customers waiting. And yes, ive managed and served in restaurants before. We will be back and hopefully they are better prepared.
**EDIT!** we were contacted by the manager and offered a credit towards next visit. Very good job taking care of customers.

I didn't want to post this publicly but your FB page doesn't have a PM option. I ordered the BBQ sandwich meal and, at first, I was a bit disappointed by the size of my sandwich. It was smaller than my wife's chicken sandwich but that's fine, that's how food is these days.
But as you can see in the pic I included, my first two bites included actual bones in a pulled BBQ beef sandwich. I'm sure it was just a mistake but really, that turned me off and I won't be back for a long time. Shame too, I usually enjoy your food but I won't risk eating bones I wasn't expecting.
