Food-wise bad, service-wise terrible. $20 for the Pineapple fried rice, nothing like authentic thai, despite being named so ironically. The lady at the front desk gave the worst service ever, wouldn’t take orders until asked, and continued to be rude bringing the dishes. Anyone with a minimal expectation for “service” should avoid this place. The lady at the checkout was being polite and this is the only reason I tipped in the end.

Thai House is one of my favourite spots in kingston and is a must visit every time I’m back! I love their chicken yellow curry, I’ve yet to have this dish elsewhere and have it taste half as good as they do it here. I think about this curry all the time and am always excited to get some when I’m in the area :) the staff are super kind and the space is clean, bright and inviting. I reccomend this place to everyone, it’s genuinely a staple of the city in my mind.

This is cozy little place for an authentic filling of Thai food. The spring rolls are delicious, the sticky rice with peanut sauce very delicious. The portions are very generous. My Thai shrimp red curry stir fry was a perfect combination of heat and flavour! Very fresh and hot. Good service. Atmosphere is okay. Nice and clean.

This is our second time going to this place, we love the food from here. 5 stars for the food and the portion. Despite providing great food, they lack at providing courteous service. Both times we didn’t feel welcomed upon entry. Probably they can try to put a smile on their face and be a little bit polite on their responses as it may seem rude from the other side.

Ordered takeout. Duck red curry. The food was amazing!! Absolutely delicious. Free delivery after $40. Docked a point on service because they sent it to the wrong hotel. Delivery person called and straightened to all out.

Disappointing Experience

Ordered the chicken Pad Thai, which turned out to be inedible. The chicken was stale and had a peculiar, off-putting odour. I couldn’t manage more than a spoonful. Despite explaining the issue, we were still charged in full with no gesture of understanding or compensation.

I was hesitant from the moment we walked in due to an odd smell in the restaurant, but decided to give it a chance based on positive Google reviews. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to the ratings.

This place offers the real taste of traditional Thai food and great service.
