Ordered wings from here but had to send them back as they just didn’t taste right, felt soggy in my mouth which was something I’ve never experienced which wasting wings before. Hoping it was just a bad batch but don’t really wanna risk it again.

The owner, Troy, consistently goes above and beyond for guests of his restaurant. He made sure my mother in law, in a party of 10, had power for her oxygen machine and checked in on us more than a few times to make sure we were all good. Excellent service on top of the hospitality and delicious, well priced food as well. Always stop into the Duchess of your passing by. You won’t be disappointed.

The lettuce was all gross, black and rotted. It wasn't a case of one but most of my bowl. I can't understand how the salad was made without it being noticed.

Exceptional waiter. Sad the curry I ordered had to send back. Appetizer size. Small dollop of brown ‘curry-like’ gravy dumped on a bit of rice with bits of grilled chicken sprinkled around. Everyone in my party had a great meal, but remove the weird curry from the menu. I’m sorry, it looked like my dog had an accident - I couldn’t eat it.

Every time we come to Kingston from New England we stop here because of the good food and service. Today was a little different. My husband’s meal was good, too much to finish. I got the fish “chowder “. Maybe my expectations were off but it was awful. It was watery with a few tiny pieces of fish, no potatoes or anything else. And it didn’t taste good at all. I guess I expected a creamier chowder with chunks of fish and potatoes. This was not in the same family. After 2 spoonfuls I stopped. I do not recommend this. On the other hand the French fries were awesome.

Stopped in for lunch, this is a great little spot and the food was fantastic, good value for money. Hubby was thrilled to find they have Guinness on draught at a really reasonable price.

Nice atmosphere. We arrived right as they were opening, we were a little disappointed that two of the items we tried to order were either out of stock and the other was the pub pie of the day, of which they only had one left. The food we did order was very good and the server was very attentive and friendly. Over all a good experience, we would definitely return when in the area next.
