You know when the best thing in your meal is the pop.
Tasteless souvlakis
Boring Greek salad (6.99 extra for a hint of feta and 1 olive - interesting enough, there was more olives on the plate than in the actual salad.)
At least the server was friendly.
We were disappointed. We each ordered Chicken Souvlaki and shared a Greek salad. The food was well-cooked, but bland. The portion size was small. The price for the single souvlakis was $25, too high for the quantity and quantity. It was strange that salad was not included with the meal. We were overcharged for the salad. We were offered bread. It was toasted but not buttered. This was poor value for money. We will go someplace else.
So disappointed. I thought this was the same Greek owner but clearly not! Poor service! Had a birthday party of many people. So disappointing. All appetizers came out at different times. Took almost an hour for food. Barely brought any beverages. Charge of $25 to store the birthday cake.
Do not even bother wasting time or money! Oh BTW found a roach on the wall!
This restaurant doesn’t seem to know which country they are in.
I received an email celebrating Memorial Day which is an American holiday and has nothing to do with Canada where the restaurant is. When I pointed this out to them, they sent out an apology but still said: “We hold Memorial Day in the highest regard as a time to honor and remember the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country.)!!! Canada remembers and honours those who serve on Remembrance Day.
Beautiful ambiance.
Vivid colour murals.
Our server (Emma) was so sweet, friendly & professional!
The food was absolutely delicious!
Generous portions so I was able to have leftovers!
I had the chicken souvlaki, it was a great amount of food and delicious
We ordered Lamb Shank here. The food's quality was good but a bit overpriced.
I wish more place offered Avolemeno soup. It's absolutely delicious and almost as good as my mom's

We celebrated my Mom's 90th Birthday here on Jan 26th. The owner was very accommodating in setting up our gathering.
As we were inviting 30 people, the area at back of restaurant is the ideal space.
They let us create a set menu, from the available items, which they so nicely printed!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent!! Shout out to Ridi!!
Thank you Greek Islands!!!

As soon as we saw no cars or people inside the restaurant we should have gone running in the other direction….the only thing good was the waitress. I use to come here 6yrs ago and everything was fantastic. The food was far from Greek/Mediterranean. I had the grilled shrimp skewer dinner. The shrimp weren’t grilled, they had zero flavour and they served seafood sauce with it that tasted like ketchup, had to ask for tatziki. The potatoes had a really weird taste and there was hardly any feta on the Greek salad.
On top of this they wanted to charge us $25 for bringing in our own cake!!!! I understand charging a fee but even the top restaurants in Ontario don’t charge that much.
I’m so disappointed especially because it was my Birthday.
I won’t be going back!!!

Came for lunch on a Saturday… restaurant was completely empty, we were the only customers. I don’t even have photos of the food because it was THAT bad. The food had zero seasoning - the shrimp platter was basically boiled shrimp on a skewer. The chicken souvlaki was grilled with no seasoning. The lamb shank was the best thing we got. The gyro was the tastiest thing but was overcooked. Actually, the tzatziki was the most flavourful thing. They were also going to charge us a $25 cake fee for bringing our own cake in?! Do not recommend!! Jimmy the Greek taste more authentic than this place.

The food was really good, but unfortunately, it didn’t come with a salad—we had to order that separately (unlike every greek restaurant). On the bright side, the prices were very reasonable, and the waitresses were friendly and attentive. Overall, a nice experience!

The moussaka was great though the salads were just average. The pita chips were a nice touch but overall I would say there was a disproportionate amount of lettuce compared to the rest of the veggie toppings. I had also asked for the dressing on the side but our waiter forgot - it’s ok, it happens! Though I will say the salad dressing was drizzled on top so there were pools of it within some of the lettuce pieces. I think it could be better tossed in before it’s served. But overall, could be worse!!
