First time, I think last time, wait time was bad, not sure of reason it was not busy, THE ONLY THING WAS GREAT WAS THE SERVICE BY WAITRESS VISH, kept keeping us informed it was coming food and drinks, she even offered to pay for something because of time frame, we were in no rush but out for a SAt evening to enjoy ourselves but it was bad, no explanation

Our server Erica was great. Wonderful value half price appetizers and calamari and feta dip great. Burger good but pizza really disappointing. Hard and greasy crust. A few suggestions. Keep ketchup and vinegar on table or bring with appropriate food (burger, fries, etc) or have servers ask when order is taken. Saves servers extra trips and condiments are delivered with meals, less waiting for guests.

Came to grizz for the mussel Tuesday! The white wine sauce was out of this world!! We got the mushroom Brie pizza, velvet shore, pineapple spice and lavender haze cocktails everything was incredible. Our server Laura brought the best vibes and service! I love grizz!

Came here last night on a whim as a table of 20 after our kids' soccer tournament. The staff was very kind to accommodate our table size and kept the kitchen open for us. As a large group who frequently goes out for tournaments, the service here was among the best. Thanks for the great energy Brooklyn and Grizzly Grill!

Went there with a party of 6, 3 adults and 3 children. Food was a bit slow in regards to how they were not busy, but decent.

Problems arised when we recieved our bill. Was invoiced for a drink we never recieved, and also billed for a pitcher of drinks instead of a glass that we ordered.

Not a huge thing, paid in cash and left. About a half block away our server approached us bill and cash in hand, stating we shorted her on the bill. Counted back the cash she brought and it was the correct amount. Was a bit embarrassing saying we didn't pay our bill properly.

Maybe a bit more training is required for newer wait staff

I had a prime rib steak at this restaurant, it felt more of a roast beef than a steak. Other than that the place is great and service is quick, friendly and efficient.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Grizzly Grill. I’m originally from Kingston and had friends visiting from out of town, so I wanted to show them around. We started the night at Jack Astor’s, where we had a fantastic time. Afterward, I thought it would be fun to show them a bit of the bar scene and chose the Grizzly Grill for drinks and pool
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by a server who was incredibly rude and unwelcoming. She approached our table abruptly and said, “What do you guys want?” in a harsh tone. Taken aback, we politely said we needed a few more minutes. She gave us a look of annoyance and walked away. When she returned about 10 minutes later, we said we’d like to play pool first and might order drinks after. When one of my friends asked how to reserve a pool table, she snapped back, “Go to the bar,”. That was the extent of our interaction with her, and although I didn’t get her name, her behaviour was unacceptable and should be addressed. We then tried to make the most of the night and enjoyed playing pool for about an hour. When we left the Grizzly Grill we decided to go to Stages Nightclub across the street. We were stopped at the door of Stages and told we couldn’t be let in due to a message received over the radio from Grizzly Grill staff. Confused, we returned to the Grizzly Grill to ask what had happened. We were told that we were “too intoxicated,” which made no sense to any of us—no one in our group had more than two drinks over a two-hour span. I asked one of the bouncers what signs of intoxication they had observed, and he just laughed in my face. Multiple staff members laughed at us in a way that felt condescending and humiliating. When I asked the Grizzly Grill bouncer directly if he had radioed Stages about us, he denied it. At this point, we were completely confused and frustrated. This experience felt like we were being unfairly profiled or punished for no reason, and the lack of accountability or clear explanation was concerning. I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. The staff is extremely rude and unpleasant, it truly ruined our night.

The employees in this establishment seriously need to be held accountable, not sure if the bouncer are on some power trip or something but there is a serious issue here. The one bouncer told me he was from OAKVILLE ONTARIO 😭😭😭😭😭😭 so that might have explained his attitude and entitlement.

We waited over an hour for food to come out, on a friday night it was early and hardly any patrons were dining, they had plenty of waitresses as well as kitchen staff. There was no reason for delay, indicated they decided to train staff in kitchen, food was coming.
Raved about fresh cut fries, they were awful, cooked twice likely and thin cut and gross flavour. Our meals were without sauces as indicated and when asked, came back to say they contain gluten so we couldn't give them to you. I would hope you would return to my table to explain that I may have chose something different. My daughters steak bun was very fatty.
Things after waiting an hour were not delivered to table with meal like the microwaved gravy we had to wait for while food sat getting cold. The waitress tried her best but her kitchen and managment team failed her!!! The manager took off a whopping $11 for our inconvenience for 5 people to wait over an hour for our meals!

Had the Carvery Plate for 1. It didn't have near the amount of meat I would expect. The ribs were seasoned well, but not fall off the bone. Our server was excellent and the smell inside made me very hungry!
