We have been going to the Loyal Oarsman for years!
We love it!
Food, Service and Atmosphere are great!
They treat you like family!
We were a big group. Only had one waitstaff serving drinks. We left withought ordering food since it took so long for him to try and take our order.

I am sad that I’m writing this review, but I also am pretty disappointed with my most recent experience here.
Food was ok, good prices. What you’d expect from this sort of place.
Service was slow all night. I had my heart set on getting dessert, and while we waited for our waiter to come take our plates from our mains I could see him chatting up his co-worker. When he came to take our plates I asked for dessert and he said the kitchen had closed. It has JUST closed. Our waiter was stalling talking with his co-worker and then I couldn’t buy dessert. Just really sad, I had been thinking about treating myself all day.
I had the fish and chips and it was awesome

No coors light beer
Older woman server during lunch hour pushing drinking to get a bigger tip!
Sat down for dinner with 4 adults and two children. Unfortunately, apart from the children's pasta with tomato sauce, none of the other food was particularly good.
Of the 4 meals ordered by adults at the table, the fish and chips were burnt and dry, the steak was under-seasoned and bland, and the steak and Guinness pie had waxed paper baked under the crust.
No one left happy. Particularly disappointing as we've recently returned from time in England.
Can confirm, a British pub this is not.

So many beers to choose from and a well-rounded menu of food- all served in a comfortable, old English pub and restaurant setting. A real value-priced ‘food menu’ with nice variety: burgers, nachos, steak, fish & chips, fish tacos, chicken fingers, pizza, stuffed Yorkshire Pudding beef, and a selection of soups, salads, and wraps. Kids Menu too!

Picked up take out Friday night , our meals were uneatable and ended up in the trash ,$70.00 down the drain, food from the Oarsman has been getting a little worse over the past year or so , but this order was the worst.
