Top notch food in my books! Can't beat the cod fish and chips and the mushy peas are to die for! Love the frozen goodies that they sell, especially the black pudding! This is always a destination shop for me when passing through Kingston!
Visited on a whim. The food is mediocre. The fries tasted like they were cooked in really old oil but also kind of tasted like nothing at the same time. Weird scent to them. The salted caramel brownie was good though. Service ok, diet Pepsi tastes like watered down. Bathroom has a weird smell.
We order fishnfries, that's what we go there in need of. Now that cod is available again, the portions are large and it is solid, flaky fish, delicious!
Wait staff are friendly and well trained, and you are left alone for just the right length of time before they check on you again.
